  • We got SO LUCKY and happened to find this one on the fly!! Turn right off The Cabot Trail just before Wreck Cove. It's on the east coast of Cape Breton Island and literally right on the North Atlantic Ocean. Amazing!!
    There's room for PLENTY of campers here. If your vehicle is equipped with 4-wheel-drive, you can even drive down to the rocky beach to set up camp!

    Someone told me there is a campground that he could see One playing golf at Cabot links. Is this what he is talking about?

      I don’t think so. This is not really a campground.

    looks like a perfect spot- do you need 4 wheel drive?

    • @binkadventure
      @binkadventure  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No 4 wheel drive is needed unless you wanna drive down to the water. It’s a fairly easy entry into the camp.

      @@binkadventure thanks for getting back! looks perfect- anymore spots around northern Maine to Nova Scotia you love? we are renting a van- no off roading- but love the idea of skipping some campgrounds to boon dock!

      @@catherinecourter3626 this is the only place we boondocked on our trip. However, we highly recommend Whale of a Time Camping south of Digby & Meat Cove Campground at the northern tip of Cape Breton.

    Is it public land? Someones land? What are the rules, permissions, etc?

    • @binkadventure
      @binkadventure  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We can’t verify either way. It’s a commonly used area with no reports of any issues on the iOverlander app. As far as rules go: Leave it better than you found it!✌🏽😁
