Nope, because men are not sociately engineered in that way. That guy talking about intellect and heart is an exception. Most men dont care about those 2 things. However, they may come around later in life when their other head stops working and/or they are faced eith their mortality.

@@teascobie6557 Although I understand where your statement is coming from I think it's dangerous for women to keep stating this falsehood. Honestly, we don't know what all men care and don't care about. Everyone is different and personally, I will continue to hold the belief that an intellectual and spiritual-based man is out there (in every age bracket). We gotta believe it, give them the benefit of the doubt and stop carrying toxic past beliefs (and experiences)

Moreso it's women that really give black men a hard time for doing it. I have a friend who gets flack all the time and he's never said he doesn't love black women.
I have a white/native friend who's only liked black women. And his wife whom he is still with today is black and I introduced them and was his best man at the wedding. His parents were okay with her but the rest of the family no so much. She's never been Criticized for dating and marrying him by her family they just wanted her happy

No white woman can relate to the Black experience, I don't care how well intended she may be. I met a white woman who had to tell me her boyfriend was Black, and then she told me he was angry with her because of an encounter they had with the police. She thought she was protecting him by verbally attacking the white male cop. She was confused because her boyfriend told her to stay out of it. I told her she should follow her boyfriend's lead when encountering police or a hostile white crowd bc her actions could get her boyfriend arrested or worse, killed. I don't understand how brother's who date white women can live in a constant state of begging and educating his partner to understand him, and respect his journey. It doesn't make sense.

This would have been a good opportunity to talk about colorism in the black community and dating. I've seen other videos with these men and many of them are with very light skin black women and even non-black, light skin women. It would be nice to see a conversation on how we interrogate our "type" or "preference," with societal beauty standards, how those have changed for these men (or not), how we can show up more for those in our community that are marginalized (darker-skinned black women), etc.

For the sake of discussion. From my living, there is no mono black experience. Just because someone is of a different ethnic group, doesn’t mean they couldn’t have empathy for your plight or struggle as a Blackman. There are many groups that undergo much of the same dealing with racism, violence, a history of extreme suppression and genocide, etc who with their own narrative can hold space for you. Generalizing that only a Black person can understand is false as well, hence why there are so many diverse opinions and perspectives about being Black on this planet. If you’re solely looking for someone to agree every time you feel some kind of way, where is the expansive and emotional intelligence to be gained from exploring the subject ie, is it always the other person or could your own hyper sensitivity also have you living in defense mode where you can’t believe another person from a ethnic group doesn’t have it in for you. I love the discussion but we also must examine these generalities we lean so heavily on solely based on race. When I was wed, my partner and I came from two differing narratives, backgrounds and life experiences and I was clueless as hell to understanding what it meant to walk in his shoes as a brother from St. Louis who grew up way differently than I did. Our melanin was not what created understanding, it was our willingness to learn from one another and our devotion that created a beautiful foundation. As I am divorced now, I have no idea based on region, spiritual component, mindset, etc etc what the future holds for me as a women who would like to be in a relationship again. I won’t stand in line hoping a Black man sees me, chooses me or loves me. I love my Black men, ie my former partner and black suns, I know they love me, but the relating we shared started in 8th grade and was built in some special magic and divine blessings. As a woman who loves love and desires partnership, more sapiosexual with a polyamorous belief system, the pool of those who get the understanding is slimmer, so why limit oneself ? We are all unlimited beings who’ve had trajectories of life experiences facilitated via racial constructs, however we are so vast, so deep, so dynamic, so spacious wonderful and loving- I think it’s good to live in your blessed vibrational and learn about other humans no matter their meat suit. We’re more alike than different and we must also be mindful of closing the doors on experiencing other folks who are mere reflections of ourselves- learn, grow, dive into your soul and be open hearted. I think I’m sacred and profound enough to find love and BE in love with a complimentary soul who is in harmonious resonance with myself. Heck you could just find a good friend to talk to, are you not going to talk to them cause they don’t look like you in the outside? Comprised of billions of cells and called into time before time, will we only seek a covering as the credentials for sharing our lives?? Just my 5.5 cents based on my personal account thus far. Good luck to anyone standing in the light of availability and the willingness to love or love again. Peace.

This is BS. I want honest truth. Men want skinny women who have long hair and hazel eyes. Not big women with natural hair. You’re attracted to the physical 1st. You won’t know if the woman is intellectually stimulating and has a great heart if she isn’t attractive to you so you can find out!

Well. Lucky for us ladies you and men like you don’t get to determine that. And what’s wrong with big women with natural hair? Just because their not your type doesn’t mean they’re not other men’s type. You’re opinion isn’t objective.
