Watch out for rapidly improving Jamaican sprinter Kishane Thompson he finished just behind Christian Colman last year in a time of 9.85 seconds to Colman’s 9.83 seconds and his previous best before last year was only 10.21 seconds.
@giffysstiffy8874giffytuck not in the 100m. Sorry buddy. They won't even break into the top 25. I hate to burst your bubble. It's good to dream though. 🙂🙂😎😎🥳🥳🖕🖕🖕
Ahhh man it's hard to guessing just as long as we the USA wins. But man it's looking good so many other fast guys as well as ladies has stepped up top it's good you and this other man breaks down all that's going on with track. Thanks
Id love to see Kerley get back to his best in the 100m this season but im not convinced he will. I think he should be putting all his energy into the 100m instead of trying to compete in the 100,200 and 400 like last season
To make things even more interesting re US M100m this yr, would love for the likes of Ronnie Baker who's run a slightly windy 9.78 (2.4) & wind-legal 9.83 & a 9.76 Bromell to get back in that form!
Sprinting revenge indeed. Coleman's gonna do big things this year and I don't see Kerley stopping him. Degrasse had some of that revenge on his last race too... 19.7's winning the 200m Diamond league final. ( less Lyles of course but still was a great ending of a frustrating season for him )
Sounds very understandable. He did very well in the Diamond League Final 2023. But a lot of people on social media are already counting Andre out in both 100m and 200m, and a lot of people keep on saying that he’s washed up, unfortunately. Plus, I’ve seen a lot of people on social media (Instagram, TH-cam, Twitter, etc.) don’t like or even hate Andre De Grasse nowadays (I don’t know why, tho.)
@@CollingAshford Who Hates Degrasse??? Lol Dude is so likeable? As far as people counting him out, he's been hearing that since 2017.... so I'm not sure that holds any weight... dude is a gamer for big races. When he's not coming off injury that is...
@@CollingAshfordAre you the same guy I was talking to in “The Final Leg’s” comment section? I was saying how I think De Grasse will be the dark horse in Paris as he can definitely medal in both the 100 and 200 and you agreed with me, saying how people hate on De Grasse, etc. If so, I agree (again lmao) that people should definitely not underestimate De Grasse. He knows how to perform when it matters, especially at the Olympics.
@@AthleticsEditzYep. It’s me. I’m just letting other people know in the comment sections that: a lot of people are already counting Andre out in both 100m and 200m (which is very unfortunate), and that a lot of people on social media are just hating on Andre nowadays (I still don’t why). So yeah, If *Total Running Productions* post new videos about Andre De Grasse on this TH-cam Channel, just don’t be surprised that we will see a lot of people are going to spread hates and negativities on him, and even downgrading Andre’s track career in the comment sections.
I'd love to cover it - I've always been super intrigued by just how crazy difficult that event is. The only problem is footage is extremely scarce as you can imagine. If we can find some qualify coverage or get permission to use anyone's shots I'll make sure to check it out. Laz Lake is an absolute mad man
previously Coleman has always got out fast with his 60m speed and basically held on for the last 15-20m but in his last race against Lyles he looked like he was still pushing without his usual "struggling to stay upright" face im used to seeing so im sensing he has changed his running tactics slightly, either that or it was just a good race lol
This year the script has flipped ...in the 100 Lyles improved start and that Coleman rivalry comes to an end because by 60m Lyles will be almost necj and neck with coleman and we all know who has the top end..😢
If Coleman gets back to his old starts when he ran low 6.3 splits Lyles won't be neck on neck with him. He already ran a 6.36 split last year in Eugene so he's getting there.
@@aodoemela & @panashenhavira7116 Careful guys. The American fans and the Noah Lyles fans are going to attack you guys and coming for y’all throats. Lol😅
The 100 is safe, as I don’t see anyone getting below 9.65 for years. The 200 record is vulnerable though over the next few years with Tebogo and Knighton maturing into their prime.
I got Coleman for the win against Kerley. I don't think Fred has regained his confidence yet and Coleman looks like he is good 60 meter form. This should give him enough cushion to keep Fred at bay for the last 40.
If Coleman stays uninjured he will be unstoppable unless Lyles times his best form just at the Olympics. Kerley won't have a chance. That's what I think
If you just look at coleman it will fool you. Coleman doesnt look like a world class sprinter, he doesnt have much muscle tone. Looks like he may even have a small gut and will blow everybody away in the 60
Banger!! I’ve always thought Coleman was the man to attack the sub 9.70 barrier but so think Lyles will do that this year
Colemen always breaks down at the end of the 100m, he starts leaning terribly, he needs more strength training
Look up Tanner Adams....he is going to dominate in the 100🙂 Cole Beck and Coby Hilton also
@@djxcel23no he needs to work on his mechanics
9.83 was already a big step for Lyles haha. He may well go sub 9.80 this year, but zero chance he goes sub 9.70

he tilts too much so hes prob gonna get injured. I hope he change it up and stays healthy but hes really intersting
If he's injury free he could medal 🏅

Fred Kerley is going to win. I started watching him run at as a 10 old runner, in our hometown of Taylor Texas . Go Fred👍🏼👍🏼

I expect Christian Coleman to take it by a pretty significant margin as he is in an even better shape than last season already.
It will be Noel, Liles, Coleman, and then curly my second guess would be no allows curly then Coleman can you forget about knight on neither.
$ still on Kerly. 😮
Every 100m race is Coleman’s to lose because he has a huge lead at some point in all his races.
Omanyala will do it
Kerley can go under 9.70 this season
Christian Coleman. He's currently in a much better form than Kerley.
