I take it the new trains in this video are both electric and diesel because it pulled into the station with the pantograph down and if this is the case will these be running on the wherry lines to Wroxham , gt Yarmouth etc? and if so when will they start running on the wherry lines
The 755s (3 and 4 car units, although they’re really closer to 2/3 car capacity) are bi-mode: the little windowless car in the middle holds the engine generators and has a corridor through it for passengers. It can be removed in future and the trains used as EMUs, which is nice. Also, the other cars are almost identical to the EMU variant of the train, since it’s really just an EMU with a generator car...
Apart from a few class 153s one Class 90 and a couple of Mk3 carriages that was a very scruffy looking bunch of Greater Anglia rolling stock.Have they got problems with the wash facility?Poor show I hope the new Stadler fleet are kept cleaner.
Due to improvement works at the Norwich depot in preparation for the new trains, the Intercity fleet aren't able to be stabled where they normally would for their 'car wash' clean hence why they're looking dirty
They are not just dirty, they are filthy, they haven't been washed for months, the GA management should be ashamed. This video does not give the dirt justice, you should see it "in the flesh" to appreciate it.
Couldn't agree more, but have you seen how clean GBRF keep their 66's,and these are freight locos which you would expect to get grubby. Unlike GA's mainline passenger stock which many people have paid £000's to travel to work each day.
Awesome video my friend good nice catch 11:23 new train wow
And I have a shot with this train

Yep, these trains are Bi-modes so can run on electric and diesel power. They will run on all rural, diesel routes

What's Norwich like for permission? i.e. do you have to ask, and if so is it easy to obtain or no?
In my experience, staff have been very friendly and are very welcoming to spotters
