Maybe focus on the small “why’s” of life rather than the big ones. Don’t get caught up in trying to answer the great mysteries of the universe but instead revel in those mysteries and dance. Try to see the beauty in the small and everyday, a la Tolstoy and not the ugliness at the extremes of human existence a la Dostoevsky. That’s my take on it.
Your question would be a big why. And I guess one reason you should focus on the small why's is because you will probably lead a happier and more fulfilling life that way. You will feel less anxiety and will find purpose in your passions, social relationships, family, career, hobbies, etc. But if you spend too much time contemplating the big existential why's you may lose all your current preconceived structures of meaning and thus fall into nihilism, depression, and despair. It's up to you really.
"if you want to be happy, be." - Tolstoy.
I like that
What a wonderful bit of introspective!
Heed your small whys, because it is an important part of being human and being aware of the small things
Anyone else ever see that Northern Exposure episode where Holling tries to live like Tolstoy by plowing an entire field by hand?
Excellent video again.

Really nobody could fix the resonance in that room?

joni jokunen agreed, maybe it was just thinking out loud? Maybe to invite you to ask "why?"..?
