- Hello guys, in this video I'm sightseeing Yamoussoukro for the first time with my family. Yamoussoukro is the native town of the first president of the Ivory Coast Mr. Felix Houphouet Boigny. His dream was to turn Yamoussoukro into the capital by creating huge infrastructures and even the world's largest church. Unfortunately, he passed away before realizing his dream and Yamoussoukro became an abandoned capital.

I know right, I wish they could’ve used some of these places. La Foundation as office spaces and do more events/summer camps at the Basilica.
