Subsonus by Advanced Navigation (www.advancedna...) is a USBL and inertial navigation system that provides accurate position velocity and heading at ranges of up to 1000 meters. Subsonus can track other Subsonus and Subsonus Tag, a battery-powered acoustic transponder.

I'm surprised at the range of caution that divers implement into the sport. I had some rental gear in Belize recently that had a steady bubble stream from the depth gauge, and the main regulator seemed to be restricted. I swapped to the backup and it worked fine, but they didn't seem bothered to set my gear aside when we were done. :|
