The game, the music, everything about this game is as perfect as mother nature. was an amazing experience back in the day. Still have my copy even with Silent hill demo with it.

The music helped make that game soooo much... If you look at games with crap music they're normally crap games. But good music, good game! It adds to the mood and the environment you're playing in.
guard sees box "hmm?" walks over, snake it thinking o dam hes gonna pick up the box. guard stands infront of box and says "mr.box" (i think thay say that its been years sence ive played it and i beleave by memory they say that)

@CoreySchmitt Awesome. I've had similar experiences when I was younger. I had taken cookies from the jar when I wasn't allowed and my mum chased me around the house scouting for me. Little did she know, I had played Metal Gear Solid and I knew how to hide away my sneaky little 7 year old ass.

Artistic license I guess. At the time it hadn't had much public exposure (other than the french obviously!), so it was nice to see something different (rather than the boring old M4). Fits into the Shadow Moses setting nicely I think!
IMO.... from left to right... the first one can be first seen after the Tank battle then the next can be first seen on tank hangar then the next is the first soldier you can see in the game then the last is one can be seen of comm tower A correct me if i'm wrong...
I liked the cutscenes because they were entertaining to watch, but yeah, it really didn't fit the whole realism thing that the origional had. But the cutscenes were origionally going to follow the origional as closely as possible, Kojima rejected them, though, and told them to be more origional.
I've always loved the artwork for this game. I still look through the owner's manual because it had all the artwork.

If you read the storylines properly and the quotes, hints, etc, you will understand the game, it does take quite a while of what is actually going on.
