Goodness. People really don't get it... The questions make that clear. We are suuuuch affective realists.
Fear is manifested by freezing or running away in western culture. But in some culture, it is manifested by falling into sleep... Searching for a biomarker for fear is bound to fail.... Should I still read those body language books by Joe Navarro or Paul Ekman?
