I’ve been a fan of Lee Ritenour for a long time, but it’s the way he encourages up and coming musicians that I really appreciate. The album “six string theory” was a great example of that, pulling together impressively talented young musicians like Guthrie Govan, Tal Wilkenfeld, Andy McKee and Joe Robinson along with industry legends. You can see it here too, the enjoyment Lee gets from letting others excel in performing. You feel like the future of music is in good hands when someone of Lee’s stature is giving these opportunities.

Lee Ritenour is a Jazz/Fusion guitar legend, I remember in the late 70's being very impressed with his 2nd album "Captain Fingers", the majority of his material is instrumental but occasionally he does vocal pieces, here's a fantastic cover of Stevie Wonder's classic "Isn't she lovely" featuring Big Champlin on vocals from "Captain Fingers" th-cam.com/video/SHtXIaKzWbA/w-d-xo.html

LOVE Lee Ritenour - always had mad singers (Eric Tagg/Phil Perry were two of my favourites)and a fantastic band.... anything he has done (especially the live versions) is worth having a listen....Yes... Donny's daughter Kenya...young man vocalist is Grady Harrell which is nuts as in this clip he was 30 !

Hi! I just watched a couple of your Elvis reactions & it occurred to me that you should react to the full length trailer for the new movie about Elvis that comes out in June. I'd love to see what you think of it (& I'm sure I'm not the only one)!💙☮

Melvin Lee Davis, the man is a legend. Look for Chaka Khan “tell me something good”, that’s him with the killer groove.

and then there's Prince singing Motherless Child on Spanish tv in 95, or Prince singing "when I lay my hands on you" @ Montreux.

Nick, I know how you love low notes. Please react to Marinel Santos "Unbreak My Heart" cover. She's a Filipina that has an amazing voice and I guarantee you'll end up going down another rabbit hole.

If you love this type of music, you would REALLY enjoy Jeff Goldblum (yes, that Jeff Goldblum) and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra featuring German trumpeter Til Bronner. I'm not kidding... it's a real jazz band and they kick ass. Jeff is a wonderful Jazz pianist and Til has this amazing way of 'singing' through his lyrical playing style. There are no vocals in this, but you will be captivated to the point of being hypnotized within seconds, Guaranteed! th-cam.com/video/p_-vtSMyK6w/w-d-xo.html

Yeah Big Man - I have to agree. When you have a horn player that good, he doesn't need you trying to sing his lines. And when a singer wails, sometimes a raised eyebrow can convey the message better than several attempts to emulate it. Just saying...you know I love ya' (in a non-sexual way).
