The 1993 of the Program Exchange Logo has been changed that I never seen before Garfield and Friends, Friends Together, and mostly others, not among others that you like.
When CBS aired the ABC episodes of Bewitched, the 74 black & white episodes (seasons 1 & 2) ended with the 1991-93 Columbia Pictures Television (blue/ivory bylineless version) and the 1987 Program Exchange logo (with the "A division of Saatchi & Saatchi DFS, Inc." byline), but the remaining 180 color episodes (seasons 3 to 8) ended with both 1992-94 Columbia Pictures Television logo (1993-2001 version with the "a Sony Pictures Entertainment Company" and the 1988 music) and the 1993-2008 Program Exchange logo (with the "A division of Saatchi & Saatchi North America, Inc." byline).
For some reason,I seem to remember a weird variant of the DFS logo that appeared at the end of Dennis the Menace:Memory Mayhem on VHS in which it did not use the normal theme but instead used a different(and much creepier)synth tune.Memory Mayhem is on TH-cam,but it does not have the closing credits or DIC/Program Exchange logos. It`s also been 30 years so I can`t say for sure such a variant existed.
I just mentioned this in a comment on another DFS logo video, Memory Mayhem is the only video that I've seen that has this variant. The Audiovisual Identity Database doesn't mention this alternate theme. Also, the Memory Mayhem VHS uses the alternate 6-note DiC theme, not the more common 8-note theme present in most Dennis the Menace episodes with the 1st logo.
@@AEMoreira81 It's interesting that you write this, the Memory Mayhem VHS was released in 1987, the same year Saatchi & Saatchi merged with DFS-Dorland.
@@yorkshireball_animations Doubt it, the Atkinson Film-Arts logo wasn't on Season 2 of Dennis the Menace like it was on other shows it was involved in (like Teddy Ruxpin).
Back when this video was posted, it was said to have been first used in 1979, and then it was said to have been first used in c.1984, but now it has been said to have been first used in 1982. Maybe I might do an updated version of this in the future.
Can confirm. The company DFS even bought the Mexican animation studio that worked on Underdog as well as Rocky and Bullwinkle from what I read. That was WAAAY before the program exchange subsidiary was a thing
The 1987 logo is when I watched The Bullwinkle Show, The Flintstones, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, The Woody Woodpecker Show, Dennis the Menace, The Brady Bunch, Mork & Mindy, The Odd Couple, Hulk Hogan's Rock 'N' Wrestling, Laverne & Shirley.
