- Flushing is a village in the parish of Mylor in Cornwall. It is opposite Penryn and Falmouth and is on the Penryn River. The village is a typical Cornish working fishing village with narrow streets and terraced housing along the waterfront. There is a small quay at Flushing as well as a larger harbour.

My mother was born in flushing some 90 years ago. A nice little village
Stayed at Creekle Cottage in Flushing for a week a couple of years ago. Very nice. The only downside if you can call it that, was that I had to park the car near the yacht club and walk back to the house. Very nice walk though.
Very nice footage I enjoyed it
Thanks and glad you enjoyed it
That was a great walk around Lucas, the church was grand, were the flags up for a celebration or everyday use...
Thanks. I think the flags were up for the Flushing Regatta, which takes place here around the time I recorded this every year.
I revisited Flushing again not long ago, and to answer your question, I think the flags are only up for celebration, as they weren't there when I went.
