Instead of going all the way to 67 construction, you could use a crystal saw to boost to 67 to make the construction tea for +3 boost and use the crystal saw for the altar. the boost stacks.
from experience, i strongly recommend just using slayer cave for aberrant spectre tasks over catacombs. their drops are very similar and the spectres in catacombs take forever to kill because of their high defence and hp. nieve's spectres are sooo much better. its worth the penalty of no totem pieces
