For those seeking context:
During one of the Next Generation episodes Enterprise is trying to establish relations with a species that speaks entirely in mythical allegory. Stuff like "Gilgamesh and Enkidu at the temple of Uruk" would be "two enemies become the dearest of friends"
The episode basically goes about establishing a common mythos the two people can pull from when talking to each other and one of the stories Picard uses to do so is the Epic of Gilgamesh.
As a really hardcore fan of both Fate and Star Trek, this was fcking fantastic. Thank you.
Man I swear Gilgamesh and Enkidu have the best relationship ever. Their story still makes me cry to this day
