I feel like we need to educate people on when something is a crime, worthy of a restraining order, how to protect yourself from false allegations, and combat stalking. This feels like it should be in PSAs in every medium possible, there should be assemblies and even unit in health class for high schoolers, we also need seminars and free classes based out of colleges, universities, night schools, vocational schools, libraries and community centers so that the 18+ crowd can have access (up to and including grandma). This happens to enough people that we need to starting teaching the public how to protect themselves.

You know, it might be a bit callous of me, but if I had a crazy ex tell me she'd kill herself if I didn't take them back, I'd be like "I fail to see the downside," and then either get together with a bunch of friends or go hang out in public on the off chance they really did it.
My last ex was emotionally abusive. When I finally saw I needed to get out of that relationship and cut things off with him, he sent me videos of him crying and threatened to kill himself and sent me inappropriate messages and tried to contact me through a fake social media account and emailed me a year later after I had went through therapy because of him. I never read the message. Or maybe I just don’t remember what it said. I lot of my memories from the relationship are twisted and I’m still figuring out what actually happened versus what I thought happened because he made me second guess so much.
That first story the parents are teaching him to be a pushover. She clearly overstepped a boundary, they had the rights to call the cops the first day. But they let her stay several days, in his room locked up all day and feed her?
She stole my money, tried to transfer a lease out from under me, and gave me a single days notice of shutting off the electricity. I’m disabled and she claimed to be an “advocate”.
I didn't realize how mentally abusive and controlling my ex was until I broke up with him. Took 3 months of telling him we were broken up and moving to the other side of the city before he finally got the hint. He then spent the next 5 years stalking me, harassing me and my now husband, calling me drunk to say I should kill myself, told me he needed me for support after getting a girl pregnant 3 months post break-up then she was apparently shot by her ex and died, had his mother call to say he died in surgery due to complications, had his friend attend the same ED support group I was in to feed him info about me...that's just the tip of the iceberg but there's too much crazy in 5 years to remember. My partner put his foot down and helped me get a restraining order and he's finally stopped contacting me as of last year. I still feel nervous and check over my shoulder waiting for his crazy butt to come back.

He asked my permission to go screw his ex, I told him that that right there was HIM making the decision for us; either stay with me and work things out, or go boink a girl and start his casual sex spree. He went. I spent the whole night walking in the dark and crying... He slept on the couch with a stupid grin on his face until I moved out. Oh, and the night he did that, he "lost" his job. Basically squatted in the home we made until the lease ran out, trashed it. When they called him about what was owed, he told them to "call my ex." So at 19 I was suddenly slammed with $2100 debt, would have ruined my credit before I even started my life if my stepdad didn't step in and save me. I paid him back within a year. Just a vindictive little boy who wanted to act like he didn't have a worry in the world for a few more years. He still tells everyone to this day that I ruined HIM, as if he isn't the one that single-handedly sabotaged the relationship. And on top of it all, he so easily backtracked on the little boy that had already started calling him daddy and told everyone he had changed his mind on wanting to be a dad. It still hurts just to talk about it, but I moved on and worked hard, always keeping in mind that my son needs his mommy to be healthy for him. Bleh. That's my craziest ex, still blames me for "destroying his family" when it was all him wanting to get his dick wet elsewhere. What can ya do 🤷🏻♀️
The guy about the ex creating a gay dating account and he had to abandon the email account- couldn't he have requested to change password since it was connected to his email and then deactivate it? He refused to accept the break up and kept up his bullcrap until my cousin's got tired of him coming to there father's house.

Just came round to help her son get his things. Later got a text that she was ashamed of her son and that I deserved better and wished me luck. Apparently everyone noticed his abuse but didn't say anything to me at the time. The other guys name was Jacob.

Luckily I was a p charismatic guy and was well liked with our mutual friends, most of whom dropped her cause of how obviously bullshit it was. She tried dating dude that she cheated with (dude didnt even know she was dating me at the time) but he found out about the situation and dumped her. Never met the dude but have no hard feelings to him and respect him for dumping her.

He then left. He lived behind my nans so was hard not to bump into me but I lived around a mile away from him and I would see him ride pass my house on his b m x alot.
She left me for her married boss, happily married boss. He had no interest in her. She thought since he was nice to her and helped her with some of her responsibilities at work that they had a connection. Couple of weeks after she left, her boss came by my house apologizing to me for the situation. He also told me the absolute dumpster fire she had caused for him. Nearly lost his wife and his job. Somehow he was able to prove they had no relationship. Scary af! He is one of my best friends now. Lost a crazy girlfriend gained a golf buddy.
