There's an eBay seller selling loose Lost Origin and Silver Tempest packs and I got no hits out of 30 packs, so I weighted them and literally all of them weighted 22.22 - 22.23 grams.
Mine weigh 21.44+hit (not 22.44) bad calibrations? 🤔 4 booster (3pack and 1 solo booster): 21.27 - only revers 21.61 - radiant 21.60 - vmax 21.66 - vmax So its true 🤔 i thing it work only in booster box but i see it work everywhere in tempest
I think maybe different print runs are made to weigh different amounts intentionally switching up weight so they aren't all the same across the board only same to each print
you sir i fw you i was weighing some random st packs from tins and all of them are 21.6 or higher i was out here weighing coins to see if my scale was off lol
I found that weighing the packs are a hit or miss. I bought a metal pipe detector from a comment I saw under one of your videos, so I think this will work better than weighing since the foil cards have some metal in it. There aren't any available in the US, so I had to import one from China. I'm just waiting on customs to clear it. I only want to open the packs that contains a hit and giveaway the packs that don't have anything in it.
Doesn't every pack also contain a reverse card though? With a metal detector you'll just find that every single pack has metal in it or am I missing something?
@@maverickbonato8164 You can adjust the sensitivity of the metal detector. This will help you eliminate the sets that have been reprinted with no holos and reverse s in them. There's only a few videos on this method. I also don't know if you can pinpoint the metal detector like if you put the Pokemon artwork area against it and it doesn't ping, you know you know you got nothing. Then, you do it again to the moves area and it pings, this means you got a reverse. If the metal detector pings on both areas of the pack (artwork and moves), you got a banger. In theory, this will be much more effective than weighing the packs. Once I get the device, I will make a video on it because I have a ton of packs from Elite Trainer Boxes and from the Charizard collection box that have terrible pull rates.
@@jay10aldana I got the metal detector. I'm going to edit a video I made on it. To sum it up, it works to a certain point then you need to use a scale to figure out which packs has the hit. There is a flaw with this specific metal detector, since there's no digital screen to show you the frequency or sensitivity level. It just a scroll wheel and requires guessing. I can't explain the science behind the metallic materials in the Pokemon and code card. If I set the metal detector to about low to low-medium, it beeps on packs that only have a holo V card but misses out on packs with a reverse, holo, radiant, trainer gallery, full art, alt art, V star, and secret rare cards. If I increase the sensitivity, it'll beep on all the packs because the code card contains something that triggers the metal detector. I tested it by repacking two packs with only a black or white code card with non-holo cards. I don't remember, but I think it doesn't beep if I remove the code card. Overall, I think it's best to still have the metal detector along with your scale.
You don't have enough likes for this video. This is exactly what I've been looking for. Thank you so much. You've explained sooooo well.

How much did you buy them for?
He probably learned it from this punk…
Please do one for vstar universe. Comparing booster box weights to packs and God packs. Your videos are very thorough.
Good stuff. My first booster box contained a Gold Lugia VStar but I bought another one hoping for an alt art.
Do some crown zenith!
soooooooooooooooooo gooood helped me alot i liked and sub

At 22.45 you will get a black border but just a holo rare so i wouldnt recommend opening those either... at least thats how it happened to me
Bought 2 booster boxes and both had alt arts
great vid and congrats on unown
Hope you do sleeved boosters next
i agree

Thank you!

@@rooga8991 He explained in his comment. A dollar weighs a gram.
