@@sandrahall9030 this is a really old pattern, I’m going to see if I can figure out which pattern it is and where it came from. If not, I’ll do some research for other 2 piece bear patterns 🙂
I had someone make one out of my dads work and pj t shirt bc he died when I was four I wear his other work t shirt to bed btw that bear looked amazing well done
Can you make a video for the crotch and underarm areas. I'm a beginner and having a hard time. I have tried to make two bears, and these areas aren't turning out right.
Sorry to take so long to reply…I actually have a whole playlist of videos about making this bear. More in depth than this one video. Let me know if you can’t find it, or if it doesn’t help like you need it to…I definitely struggled sewing the crotch area at first!
I received some requests to do a video with commentary on how I made a memory bear. I created a playlist with all 5 videos on the memory bear tutorial. Go here for the playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLYO3qVNM15hDFDlms2cvK3_xaJJan-0xp.html
If there is interest in this I can definitely do another video where I explain my steps! My TH-cam videos started out so I could show my customers how I make things, just for fun, so there wasn’t really a need to talk in the beginning. But I would love to make another one for you! I’ll come back here and let you know when it’s done-probably a few weeks.
@@brendaschaub8292 I think it is! It eliminates any stretching at all. I think everything comes together better and the end result looks better when interfacing is used, even on flannel. I use pellon P44F. It’s very lightweight and even when it’s not on sale it’s .99 a yard. I can usually get it for .50 a yard. Hope that helps!
@@brendaschaub8292 also, do you mind sharing what the pattern is called? There are some people wondering and I don’t have the sleeve anymore, just the worn out pattern.
Hi, Dorothy! I have a video series that goes through this process slower. If you would like to sew along with the videos, it would be perfect for you! Let me know if that’s what you’re looking for
I really like this video, actually showing how you make bear, without all the distraction of chatter
Thank you so much!
I really enjoyed watching you put this little teddy bear together! I need to try this for my granddaughter, thank you!🙏🏼💖
This was such a blessing. Thank you for sharing.
Awe, my pleasure! Thank you for watching!
looks absolutly amazing im trying to lern how to sew and im gonna try a teddy bear like this :D
Thank you so much! Have you tried to make one yet?
Nice job. What size bear? Where do I get the pattern? What type of interfacing did you use?
I believe it's a Carol Zoo pattern.
I’m sorry I missed this comment! Yes it’s a Carol zoo pattern. I got it from Etsy
hello. This is really nice. Where can I get the pattern?
I would search for ‘memory bear pattern’ on Etsy, there’s tons of options!
You can hold a piece of parchment paper onto the screen when you have paused it then cut it out while holding the paper. All done.
@@lujoypursesandsuch8073 there aren't a lot options with just 2 pattern pieces like yours.

@@lujoypursesandsuch8073 Thanks I appreciate that. It makes an easy and attractive.bear, that's for sure.

Thank you so much for your compliments ♥️ I’m so glad you have a special keepsake to remind you of your dad!

Very nice. How much do you charge?
Thank you! They are $45 each
I have the same pattern but haven’t made them yet. What size bear did you make in this video?
The bear I made measures 15” inches in height
@@lujoypursesandsuch8073 thank you!!
Where do we get the pattern from
I’ve found them on Etsy, and also in my local craft/fabric store
What is this white material,?????
Maybe it’s the interfacing?
Nice
What's a memory bear
It’s a bear made out of a loved ones clothing-normally someone who isn’t with us anymore
My OCD is wanting those plaid stripes to match up more. Sorry, otherwise he is really cute.
Sometimes it works perfectly, sometimes it doesn’t! I worry more about the face lining up correctly
@@lujoypursesandsuch8073 gotcha! I just did a striped one and the same thing, but not so terrible. lol
Where do I get this pattern?
I found it on Etsy!

Would have been nice if you explained as you went along what you were doing, instead of saying nothing!

@@lujoypursesandsuch8073 That would be awesome, because the pattern you’re using is the one I have, but I don’t know how to do darts. Thank you.

I wish this was a bit slower with an explanation as to what was being done. It was ok bit not the best to follow.
Hi, Cat! I have a whole playlist on how to make this memory bear with explanations. It’s broken up into 5 videos so it goes pretty slow 😊
Los patrones?
