Over the past couple of years, there were five racing pigeons with ID rings that all decided to stay here at my place with my other pigeons. I called one of the numbers but the owner didn't even want his pigeon back Difference is I don't trap them, they all come at dawn and leave my garden at sunset. It's a flock about 30 pigeons with about 10 of them hand-tame 🥰
The famious Military carrier Pigeo, . Cherime, flew 25 miles, in 25 minutes, landed, in nest box, with a hole in its, Chest, at, Sithsonian Instutute inWashington D. C. Famous Pigeon, saved, 1,200 U. S. Troops behind German lines, out of, bullets, food, water CHERAME, saved, 1,200 troops lives, were saved with message on leg of dead, Brave Cherame WW 2 famous Pigeon.
And the hawk"s, always get the fastest one, stagger, when you release your birds, and let fly, on empty crop, hungry, watch for hawks, as they too, . are, a Bird of Habit, will sit in same tree, watching your birds, turned loose. Ecclesiastes 3:1 - 8 when you let your birds out to fly, drive your vehicle around neighborhood, looking for, a Hawk, sitting in a tree, alway's will be back, once, they kill one, they will be watching, three blocks away, in a short tree, watch out!
@adranscyth1556 yeah right like they race pigeon thousands of kilometers without providing food on water for them like that is not cruel what rub...so are you talking about ( there is rescue groups who help injured and sick pigeons who get racing pigeons in care and nurse them back to help I am helping this rescue groups to as I help with injured and sick pigeons to and many advocate to have this races banned so how come it’s only me who don’t know what I am talking about and by the way having seen they found almost on the verge of death from no food and water pigeons , I have seen it ) please re inform yourself and offer to help with this sick racing birds to nurse them back to help you should do some volunteering
@@michaelahrinco79 my pigeons will race max 1200 kilometers becuz i have the breed to race them at that distance. What the rest of the world is doing is not off my concern. My birds race from 150 till 1200 km, seldom they are lost and if they are lost and someone sends a message to site were they can upload there ringnumbers, i will get my bird back. This is europe only here is pigeon racing an elite sport, the birds are getting fed propperly and wel taking care of, almost all pigeon owners in Holland, belgium, germany, england , france etc are trustworthy people who have the best in mind for this nobel old sport. You need to get your head checked lady

Don't remove race bands just put wrote electrical tape on it so owner knows someone had it
