Thanks for dropping this gem of information. They’ll play Oregon, Penn state, and a great Michigan defense. Also because they haven’t played hard games yet they haven’t passed page 3 of their playbook or defensive schemes. We’ve seen Georgia and Bamas best and that’s a team that can smash you but also be shut down with a quality roster and coaching. Regardless, going to be an exciting playoff.

Kaleb DeBoer said they specifically worked on that pass that he threw to Williams on that last play and that he did it exactly how they wanted him to. So it wasn't a bad throw.

You are spot on. Tennessee's signature wins were against NC State and Oklahoma who should have lost to Auburn. Texas's signature win was against Michigan who nearly lost to Minnesota.
I’m a diehard, lifelong Ohio State fan, and I would definitely put Bama #1.

Texas fan and I agree with everything said pretty much. One minor issue is that Ewers will be playing and could have already played. But the rest of the team is so strong, there was just no need to not get him to 100% before playing him. But I agree that super athletic running elusive QB's that can also throw are frightening and a defensive nightmare. We'll see how the season develops, but if Milroe can continue to perform at the level he did against Georgia, he reminds me of Vince Young who just took over games and ALA will be hard to stop.
For me - after Georgia almost lost to Ky...... how can Bama be so great for Georgia to come back from so far behind ? Don't really know - yet (!) but time will tell. Same with OSU - and Tenn. ? Too soon -- and ranking them NOW (?) is really useless and will likely end up wrong !?! Plenty of games to decide it - Oregon has more to say - perhaps Penn St too ?

Bama did great, but they took their foot off the peddle way too early. They stopped being aggressive on offense and defense. Georgia got back into the game because they did the extremely statistically improbable feet of going 7/7 on 4th down. If bama stops them on 1 4th down that’s ball game.
I think you do a good job. However, there is only one case for 1 team to be number 1. And that was whoever was going to win the Alabama Georgia game and that was Alabama. You can make no case for any other team, especially Ohio state Who just played the first power 4 team Saturday.

Alabama texas would be an interesting matchup, and i think texas would win but im not sure. I think texas is well equipped to attack alabama’s biggest weakness (secondary), where texas doesn’t really have a major weakness in my eyes. I also think quinn ewers is a much better player than carson beck, quinn doesn’t really make mistakes like carson beck was in that first half. To be honest, i think whoever would score first in that game would have a very good shot of winning
