Ahmed fue el unico quien no cometio el asesinato de hermanos y sobrinos. Para eso invento LA JAULA una especie de carcel donde fueron encerrados todos los principes. Pero su hijo Murad IV el mas cruel sultan del Imperio e hijo de Kosem, una vez Sultan hizo masacrar a todos sus hermanos, la sucesion de la historia fue distinta de como la cuentan en la novela. Todos esos ninios que se ven en la novela no son hijos de Kosem son sus hijastros, Murad no honro a su padre, los hizo asesinar a todos.

Even if the king shows mercy the traitors dnt miss a chance to hurt. Therefore running the sultunate becomes difficult. Do this sacricfice was made by the king to kill his own brothers. It caused one time pain but the rest of the life became peaceful

No body should had the audacity to challenge his majesty and those who did paid their prices. Osman II understood that he was a pawn in his stepmother hands
