I only play randbats, and I've reached a very high level, but seeing the level of positioning you have to have in OU and Natdex is a whole other level of skill that I'm honestly amazed by. Keep up the great content!

I'd love to see videos where you try out a meta for the first time and how you approach building in a totally unfamiliar tier; whether that's OMs, older gen OUs, or lower tiers. These natdex vids are kind of that and I love them! Would be curious to hear you talk through building in something completely different like LC or NU
Any chance you could explain why you specifically wanted to poison the lando game 1? At 8:07, you said now that it is poisoned you can start to exert pressure. How, in this game, exert pressure? Would love to learn :)
essentially you're putting Lando on a timer and giving it less opportunities to come in. by doing that you can apply more pressure with hazards and force it to take damage that it doesn't want to take
Also just finished finals! I can now ladder to 1800 very easily with ho teams in ou but can’t even break 1500 with bulky offense or balance teams, what advice do you have on making progress and how the play style is stylistically different bc I think I’m still playing it like HO and not well
I wonder what archetype player are you? Like which archetype do you use/like the most. I don’t want “all archetypes” as an answer, not in a rude way ofc, I just wanna know which is your favorite to use. If you aren’t sure then it’s fine.

It is indeed a physical attacker-- the point is to get a speed boost from the ability, Beast Boost, which grants a boost to the pokemon's highest stat after getting a kill. I intentionally give Kartana very low attack so it can Swords Dance up, get a kill, then get a Speed boost to make it a more threatening sweeper!

I found my opposite. I stopped playing gen 9 ou because all of the three pokemon I really wanted to see banned (gliscor, waterpon, and Kyurem) made it through their suspect tests.

Probably not sadly-- Alakazam-Mega is banned so there's no much reason to use it.

I would guess you're probably sacking pokemon too readily and not utilizing your pivots well. Try practicing balance / offense more and focus on that!

Don't worry lol, I'd never give the all archetype answer. My favorite is Balance, close second is Hyper Offense.

I did! Mostly! I got As on four of the exams and a C on one of 'em, but the class average was terrible on the exam where I got the C.

I wanted enough speed to outpace Landorus, that was the big thing. Rest I just put into bulk.

so beast boost increases speed upon kill instead of attack
it's EVed to get a speedboost every time. the minus attack (and 19 IVs) ensure speed is exactly 1 above attack
