When I see or hear that denzel is acting in any movie, I don't ever èven want to see the preview. I go straight to the movies to be surprised. He ain't never disappointed me yet. Powerful Black Man.

He spent a semester or two at my high school (Mainland Senior HIgh) in Daytona Beach, his junior year. His mother took him there to care for her sister for a while. I was a senior and even though I was in the drama club, he wasn't interested in acting yet. I never came across him at school but several others at school did. He is in my yearbook. He's my favorite actor!
Pauletta is an amazing woman. He would not be the man or star he is without her encouragement, sacrifice, support and love.

@@zeldabloom3582 That's very true, but the world we live in has always challenged the manhood of the blackman and has worked to destroy his image as a whole, so it is quite alright to want to uplift his image only, and not always try to be a humanitarian for other people when it's clear as a nation they work vigorously to destroy the black man and woman on all scales. But even though that is true, we find a way to defend all people in our personal time of pride. Can we at least have our day, and when wer'e fully cured of self hatred and all the impediments placed upon our culture, then, and only then should we say all races of people. because we would have the power and be the pure model of manhood we once were, and all people would then follow. It's the only way, we gave them all the time needed to fix things and it's clear they cant and don't desire to. The blackman is the most beautiful, humblest, God fearing, family oriented, under appreciated male on the planet.God knows for sure.

Until 1960 the trains changed your seat, we had to go 😢to back where they segregated you. They put us on the black side. Seperate seats bathrooms and no soda fountain we were going to Georgia. I thought the people hated us because we were Jewish. My poor mom was so put down by the whites

Out of all the roles in the movies, Malcolm X was his best character. That's the one that should have won an Oscar. For a long time after that movie, when people saw him, they saw Malcolm.

Imho he should've won an Oscar for both films. Of course I also think he should've won an Oscar for Devil In a Blue Dress, Man on Fire and Hurricane but of course I think Denzel's one of those few actors I think should win an Oscar for almost everything he did lol.

Great Actor i grew up looking at his tv shows & movies in the 70s & onward & people go true hard times in a life time & need help from someone & some people dont have parents growing up so he had that guidance he kept fighting the good fight great , he picked & choose movies one or two he may have regret but thats life he said he assisted his church & his school club etc. & one little part he said he could not fit in were he grew up seems s a little sad to me he could still talk to people & let them know how things worked if they got a script & somebody looking at your watch for me if i got millions & i give a few thousand dollars to my hood i think thats just cool & i love his work look at his movies all the time keep up the good work.

My brother in law met him while he was doing security at Oscars and said Denzel was pure class and thanked them for their services. He said he was great and down to earth too. I read the Autobiography of Malcom X a couple of years before the movie came out. Then there was an announcement that Spike Lee was making the film. I wondered if Spike could pull it off because the book covers a lot of detailed ground. But they did it. I think it’s both Spike Lee’s best effort and is Denzel’s best performance. Denzel was extremely convincing as Malcom. There’s a scene late in the film where Denzel was walking to the hall (where Malcom) would eventually be shot and killed in, and he had a look on his face showing how tired and certain he was of his fate. Unforgettable moment.

I think he is a wonderful actor and a fine human being. Terribly handsome, with an alluring smile. Once on holiday in New York City I saw him in a play Off Broadway and I was smitten! I am inclined to watch any movie he is in. Starting with Carbon Copy, then on to St. Elsewhere, I found an actor to whom I knew I would stay devoted!
Friends and I envied his wife for having our dream guy as husband! I was, and am pleased he married a lovely, talented woman of his race!
I do hope he finds his place in that lineup as he made reference to in an interview, alluding to the Spiritual "When the Saints Go Marching In!" God's blessing on Denzel and family always!

Historically speaking in the Americas, there were absolutely NO people of colour who were thieves.
There are many documentaries abound online, outlining the struggles of the early African slaves, transported to the America's & to the Caribbean etc;, whilst enduring such sufferings & hardship/hard work on the land.
The sad truth is, some of those who used & abused African slaves for 400 years in the US & made much money off of their painful, difficult & back breaking work, were the real thieves.
