Thank you Paul. My wife Shelly has said that when we get to be in Bucerias full time, the first thing she wants to do is volunteer at the home (she is an RN in the States and specializes in wound care). Many prayers to Jim and Marilyn, and God bless Carlos for his support. --- thank you so much for doing this video. Today 8/20 was my 60th birthday... I had so many things to be thankful for and so many blessings .. and after everyone went to bed... there was this representation of loving kindness. Words can't express my appreciation for your art and love for the community. I say thank you-- but it just falls short ❤❤
I am absolutely flabbergasted that a Canadian citizen would perpetrate such a heinous crime against two wonderful and giving people. Lock him up and throw away the key! Prayers and thoughts to Jim and Marilyn, and their support network. Perhaps some good can still come from this appalling act. Thank-you Paul for linking to Casa de la Paz.
I adore Jim and Marilyn and it is so sad that this happened to them. I am heading home to Bucerias today and cannot wait to jump in and help some more ❤️ These lovely people are true champions
I felt really depressed hearing about this couple 🥲. Please keep us posted on the progress of their recovery and on what is discovered about this Canadian man. What a great idea they had to build this home. Love them! ♥
Yes, feeling pretty inspired. My parents were germans who almost settled in Puerto Vallarta in the early 60s but lived in Guadalajara instead. When I retire, I would love to help Casa de la Paz.
So grateful to the people that are helping Marilyn & Jim after this horrific attack. They are super nice people and I feel so bad for them. 😢🙏🙏🙏. Good video Paul.
That is insane to attack such an amazing couple who have the biggest hearts. I hope for a speedy recovery for them.Continue to do some update videos on them please.
Wow what an awful situation, but so glad they are alive and that they have so much support! The man most likely has some mental health issues, cause I can't imagine he'd want to attack them just for the heck of it! I'll donate something. Keep us posted! ❤
They literally have EVERYTHING. At random times I needed a TV antenna, a remote, an adapter for my socket wrench, a jar for the blender, a jigsaw blade, tree branch loppers, in addition to the common things like socks, fruits and veggies, flower pots, etc. No need for Amazon when you have the tianguis!
Thank you for bringing the GoFundMe for Jim and Marilyn to your platform and helping out in that way. The walk through the Market was lovely I really enjoy looking at all the things that are available for purchase at your location. I think a lot of Mexican markets have basic similarity, but some regions have things that are unique to their areas. I always enjoy your videos :)
My Prayers for them and protection for this blessing in providing place for need My self I am planning to move as well to Mexico just have not decided where at yet down to two but with this situation maybe three I would like to help as well
I'm a 75-year-old Canadian. I'm embarrassed and apologetic about this terrible behavior. I've been enjoying your vlogs for quite a while now. One of my goals is to live in Bucerias. Hopefully, as soon as my prior commitments are fulfilled. A reliable, convenient retirement home is in my vista. Namaste Blessings to you all in deep appreciation for all of your contributions to the community. 💖
We are broken hearted to hear this unbelivable news! Jim and Marilyn have given SO much over the years in both Bucerias and La Cruz. Their wonderful dream of building a home for seniors has a project that has consumed their lives over the past years. They never gave up even when the going was tough. So, to hear that some thug did this to the kindest, and most giving people we have ever met is beyond belief! Our love and best wishes to both of these dear people. S & J
Saying prayers for Jim and Marilyn. Chris Kringle as well. We are so sorry this happened to them. We met while staying at Refugio a couple of years ago. Take care, and we hope they get better soon.
Have people no respect for anyone anymore, even the elderly who are literally doing God's work in Mexico? How about just mind your own business? Being in their 90's, this could have been so much worse. They are a very resilient couple. It seems that when you do something good, you will always have opposition from an enemy. To think of how Mexico has a reputation of being dangerous and the perpetrator was not even Mexican, he was from a "safe" country, Canada. I hate to see immigrants/expats acting badly in whichever country is hosting them. As a Christian, to me, this is nothing short of evil. That's the only explanation that comes to mind. I pray for speedy healing for Jim & Marilyn. May what was meant for evil be used bring awareness to their cause and increased donations to propel it forward. 🙏
Yes, please let us know more about this CND, how long he's been here, what promoted it, etc. Even where it happened since you said they live above a restaurant. Thank you for letting us know.
Hello Paul, thank you again for a great video. So so sorry to hear about Jim and Marilyn. I’ve never met them. Hopefully I can one day sending fast recovery, and good vibes. No one deserves that especially at their age. Also, the home that you were walking by around 20.08. Do you know who that Home belongs to? I always admire it when I drive by there when I’m over there. thank you I hope to meet you someday and your wife and your kids and your mom. Well wishes to all.
Hey Paul, I have a question. Do you have anyone that can help us in and around the area with helpful assistance to get our temporary Visa .i believe we have 30 days to apply once in México.Thank you
The word "tianguis" comes from the Classical Nahuatl word tiyānquiztli or tianquiztli, which was spoken by the Aztecs and means "market". The tradition of tianguis dates back to the pre-Hispanic era and was a vital part of Aztec cities, connecting communities economically and socially.
Hi Paul, I enjoy watching your videos and am thinking of coming down there mid October. What is the weather like, does it have heavy rain in October or does it lighten up after September, thank you!
Do you have a Pay Pal link that goes straight to them? The ones on the site are for the home, not for them & their needs. I can't donate a lot, but it will be something. Thanks
@@MovingToMexiCo - I wasn't able to do it. evil PP wanted me to scan a QR code from my toxic cell phone weapon & I won't do that. I'm totally AGAINST the digital prison. If you have an email address, you can email it to me. Thanks
I'm an in-home caregiver in the States, and I'd like to point out that caregivers are (almost 100%) warm, loving, and, well, caring. A part-time caregiver can do wound care, household chores and, depending on level of training, help with physical therapy. If this couple can't afford to employ someone for part time care, I expect that they're well known enough for their altruistic work, that they would have a wealth of community support to provide the care they both likely need right now.
Is there a newspaper report about this attack you could cite? Or something from the Mexican government acting to deport the attacker, maybe photos of the victim's bruising? That would help with donations. . .

I think you are correct about the mental illness. Thank you so much for your support!!
Also, it could be even the evils' frequency weapons & the 5G towers. That affects our personalities BIG time besides making us sick.

Haha yes!
WHY??? WHY the Hell would anyone attack these 2 wonderful humans???
I can only speculate drugs or mental illness
Hoping that they have a fast recovery and I'm very sadden by what happened to them.

Thank you for watching! There is rain in October but usually less and less as the month passes. In early October last year we had a hurricane.
@MovingToMexiCo Thanks for that info, i lived in Costa Rica for several years, rains like cats and dogs in October.
