- Three-time Canadian national medalists Marjorie Lajoie and Zachary Lagha perform their '80's-themed' 2023-2024 Rhythm Dance to a medley of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" at the Ice Academy of Montreal, shortly before competing at the 2024 ISU World Figure Skating Championships, where they placed 5th.
🎪 If you’re looking for a thrilling show to watch next weekend, check out Marjorie’s show, “Patinage Atypique”, which is raising money for ‘Fondation Autiste & majeur’. It’s starring a host of Canadian and international skaters, from World champions to up and coming young talent. And I’m proud to be coming to document it!

The skating is a snooze fest. It's too slow. The timing doesn't match up. They don't appear to be feeling it. The spin at the end is okay.
The music deserves better. They look out of their element. Either back to the drawing board for different moves that work with the music or for different music that works with their dull moves or, perhaps, a new choreographer.
