A story on the note of calling Cody Travis the best Blaster player. Im not going to confirm or deny the statement, but if we're talking performance, I watched a match years ago in either 2017, 18, or 19, between Boomie(Diana) and LDZ(Lucien), where both of them were LITERALLY fighting under the stage. Like every pro player goes off stage but in this particular match at one point both of them with blasters had a DBZ fight for about 13 seconds entirely beneath the stage(if I remember correctly) where both of them reset and cought ledge on opposite sides of the platform. That was the best blaster performance ive ever seen, and I love Cody Travis, but I have never seen him do something as crazy as that

South America's competitive scene is dominated not just by top players like Kyna and Yuz but also by semi-pros, who are on par with pros. Players such as Kaito, Thaiph, Seattle, and MAK consistently take games off the best in the world, including Kyna, Yuz, Lores, and Power, who, regrettably, hasn't had the chance to prove himself on LAN. To use an analogy, South America is like a Spartan army of 300 fighting against the vast militaries of other regions with thousands of soldiers. The region's smaller size doesn't detract from its intensity; rather, it heightens it. The competition is fierce because the talent pool is both high-quality and concentrated. In contrast, other regions, while larger, have a more diluted level of competition due to their greater number of players. South America is the densest precisely because it is the smallest and has great quality, the other regions are simply much larger. What I agree with is that the other regions have more players in general, and if you take a quick look at the tournament pages and see the number of players and see 2,000 players in North America and 300 in South America, the obvious thing to think would be that in general North America is "better" precisely because it has more players capable of competing. Wess has proven his worth in person and loses to V3M (who is still an inconsistent player in my opinion but who is improving a lot), Power and SAC. And that's without mentioning players like Kant, who is Kaito's duo and who is very good in 1v1 as well, managing to beat big names, and in 2v2 they have been paired with Kyna and Lores multiple times. Lopes, who made a thunderous comeback, almost taking a championship from the arguably best player in the world and 3-0ing yuz which is the current world champion in his first tournament back in the most competitive, dense and complicated region of all. and Reaper Black who seems to be a LAN beast, almost winning the entire LAN that took place in Brazil. South America’s high player density and intense competition create an environment where players must constantly improve to stay at the top. This contrasts with larger regions where top players might have more breathing room. The region's competitive landscape is fierce, with fewer new players entering the scene due to the high level of existing talent, there is simply no room, the word that describes it best is exactly the one you were using: it's absurdly DENSE.
