It’s crazy because A LOT of the new casters just know NOTHING about the game, they spend so much time mentioning really silly stats like damage and weapon throws etc instead of talking about good reads or off stage plays that were the actual turning points of a set, something that sets Foda, Duc and Taza above the other commentators is their knowledge on how good these pros really are and how hard it is to achieve what they achieve each set

I understand what you’re saying about Dara, and I agree some people definitely make it out to be worse than it is, which is why I didn’t make an entire section about it. But it definitely does detract from the gameplay, which is the opposite of what you want a caster to do
We understand what she is saying, but she is just yapping for most of the time. I remember that almost the entire chat was timed out because when she starten talking people would spam yapper
I would even go on and say that Dara has been much more soulful than most of these other disinterested casters recently. Like, Freya for example. She is very coherent if you try to put the speech impediment behind. I 100% didn't like her commentary say a year back. But she has improved on herself significantly and that's appreciable, especially with such a drawback
@@TrippedUp I think Dara’s way of analyzing the strategies and tactics used in matches is something rather uncommon in the brawlhalla scene. I’m not saying it’s not done, but I’d much rather that than the commentator only calling out the moves as they’re being hit. I can see what’s going on, but I’m some dude in silver. I’d like to know Why the pro player is making that choice. Also I think you missed a point. That point being that the pro scene has become so high skill level that sometimes a cool moment to some of us is a more average moment to them. Like earlier this spring when Mounir was cooking on Kyna earlier this spring. The first time it happened, they weren’t all that hyped. But they took note of it and they said Kyna’s almost 02death moments later wasnt as good as Mounir’s cooking at the beginning of the set. And when Mounir closed the match with a real nice clip, the commentators compared the clip to other pros they’ve seen in the past, because they’ve seen it all before. (Zinquer and Java) Though it was neat to hear these two called out for their iconic styles.
Absolutely, you’re one of the greats! Thank you for continuing to put your heart and soul into casting when some of your peers have seemingly forgotten how to do so 🫡
They should actually fire Dara , she has a medical condition but she isnt doing her job well because the audience can barely understand her. Its literally so hard to watch brawl tournaments without muting them
Honestly think I’ve watched the last 5 tournaments on mute while listening to music because they don’t say anything that i consider valuable and they don’t make me hyped up or more invested in the match than I already am. Great vid I’m glad at least someone else noticed
When I watch CS2 Tourneys I fail to understand how people can talk so much calculated stuff while its happening live. When I watch Brawlhalla tourneys I fall asleep.
THANK YOU FOR MENTIONING JUNEBURG!!!! My goodness! I thought I was going crazy thinking that man knows NOTHING about brawl. Also, props to Dara for actually knowing a lot about the game's mechanics, despite it not being her main game.
Also, foda was the only diamond caster so he knew fundamentals, reads etc. Most casters are golds or dont even olay the game thus not understanding a lot of things like missinputs, not dodging on purpose, some specific reads or just the player's intention. While watching the autumn's royale round robin, during a match between wess and acno, acno had a kill if he groundpounded with sword and he dashed and dsigged on stage (it was OBVIOUSLY a missinput) and the casters thought he did it hoping wess was gonna panic and fall into it. He didnt even have enough resources (literally only a jump) to get back on the stage, he HAD to touch the wall
There's one other point I think is worth mentioning. Not only do reactions seem a lot lower energy, but it feels to me like expectations have grown too high over the years. I remember a recent match in which one player was getting edge guarded badly. In 2021, I'd have expected "And look at (blank) with the edge guarding, not letting him get a foot on stage, he's reacting to everything perfectly!" but the casters were saying something like "Wow... (blank) is not getting back to stage, they keep walking into the same moves.". It goes against every principal of casting to focus on berating the player in disadvantage state instead of hyping the advantaged player, and it feels like it results from some desensitisation to the near flawless advantage state some modern players have.
5:00 Taza? He's by far the best technical caster I've seen on this game over the years. I personally prefer him over Foda because he creates a narrative and goes into detail into the mindset of the players, and both of them on the casting would hype and narrate a story along with the game which was 10/10 times HYPE!
22:46 as bro says "he's going for it,he wants it so bad" after the spear sair,it gives me goosebumps EVERYTIME. You can even hear the audience in hype as his tone goes up. Amazing commentary, peak.
Honestly I just feel bad for Dara. They should not be a commentator unless they can somehow get past the speech impediment. Im so happy you made this video. I have been thinking the same for months, but I never though we would see a vid aboit it. I remember them screaming their lungs out three times a game, and now they have chit-chat while the players sweat for their lives. Truly depressing. Thanks for your work. Edit: you legit left out Taza here 4:59 no way bro...
Taza is a great caster, I was just naming 3 casters for consistency sake (since I named 3 smash casters afterwards). That’s why I said “among” because the list I gave wasn’t everyone who’s good.
They should be getting pros that have put a decent amount of time in the game and are no longer interested in play competitive to be do the casting eg boomie, phazon, coslix. I doubt if they would turn down free money just to talk give commmentary on a game they have a good amount of knowledge about. It's a win-win for the community. BMG should do better
One of the best videos BH related that i've seen in a WHILE. Hope they actually change the casters to other ppl from the BH community cuz rn i just watch muted or go to a pro player watch party.
I don't know if this is still a case but I remember that I used to hate it when TK was casting because that guy couldn't even say the name of a player but rather just called them by the legend which he did a lot. This also proves your point that he isn't too invested in the Brawlhalla community because even names like Cody or Phazon got replaced by Barazza and Val by him
You have made so many points I made in my head while commenting on VODS. Thank you for the video! we hope that it will be fixed soon. great video. deserve more subs.

20:35 incase you want to know from a caster why these problems are happening this is exactly why. I cast for mobile games and when you upgrade the quality it comes with professional production companies. There are actually only a few production companies at the top. They usually throw in as an incentive to choose them that they will bring a top tier caster in from another related game. They get a premium and pay the caster a small portion of it. The caster makes less on your game than their own but they make more than not casting at all that weekend. This is why they don’t invest into your game the way you would like and honestly the way they should. But they are getting less than they do for their own game they have knowledge for and will feel like they should have to put less work in. When in reality you would have to put in more work. The worst part is when the casters do study it comes out as them saying random facts in game at bad times. Here is the worst part of all. The production company that brings the quality the devs want all insist on bringing some of their casters over as a part of the deal. Both giving the game name recognition and allowing the production company to pay them for multiple games at lower rates while keeping that talent they want on their main game. The caster refusing can also get them blacklisted if they don’t have a big enough name so they can be forced into casting games they don’t care about sometimes. Luckily I have won tournaments over multiple games so I don’t care if I get black listed lol. I only have experience for mobile games with $50k-$500k in prizing per year so the bigger it gets things do change some I have been told. Hope this helps lol.
Flambo is one of my favorite casters. He knows exactly what to say to hype up the gameplay. The Sting Ray comeback and the Acno 1v2 clutch at BCX are so hype because of Flambo.
OMG i was feeling this recently with all the tournaments, this video just confirmed for me that it wasn't just me that felt casters have had no energy for the past 2 years
Spicy video tu put out these days hahahha. Nice one dude, liked it a lot. Wanna say I actually like how Daramgar casts. Gotta also say, though, that her impediment does distract me a lot during the games.. Greetings from Spain ^^
I feel like a lot of people think this way, including myself. Dara is good at casting, but the speech impediment is hard to ignore, especially if you aren’t fluent in English. Thanks for the support 😄
Foda was the goat and i remember i insanely enjoyed watching the "old BCX" with LDZ and boomie in the golden era also great video and great background music hope to see more like this
As someone with a severe stutter, I wanted to be treated like how everyone else is treated, I don’t want special treatment. So if I were to become a commentator, and I don’t perform at the same level as other casters do, I’m not going to make a big deal about it when I get replaced. I would’ve known that I had to compete for a commentator spot against others that don’t have a stutter. Thank you for talking about the person with a speech impediment!🫶🏼❤️
The way they hire casters in Brawlhalla is bizarre and makes no sense at all, it's so emotionless these days. An example they could base this on is Tekken's casting. Man, I just LOVE watching Tekken tournaments, the guys are always so excited and you feel the hype and anxiety when a player is making a comeback. It's really cool, it looks like the guys are watching a real fight haha
the reason why I love league, valorant and CS esports is because you can tell the casters LOVE what they're doing and they are always invested into not only the game that is ongoing at that moment but also the entire history of the teams and players.
100% agree with everything said in this video! As someone that used to commentate for the local scene here in Southern Africa and would like to go further as a caster in the scene, I shall be taking notes from this video!
For me there's another reason: the commentators are only talking about the game on a tournament- and more abstract layer. They will say things like "X really needs to win this", "Y is nervous" or "Z needs a comeback", but never about actual combos, gameplay, real strategies and the game itself. I remember watching Boomie watch a tournament on twitch and how I was mindblown by how deep he went and how much I learned about the game while he was "casting".
I don't even watch or play Brawlhalla, I was just curious to know how the Smash casters do in a game they were paid to show up for. ...its exactly what I expected.
Worst part is that half the casters constantly say the wrong moves, barely know reads, movement, combos and options that even a mid-plat has mastered. How are they gonna bring anything insightful to the game? See how I typed know, not can do. You can be gold and still know, they just don’t.
The best comparison between commentators is brawlhalla vs super smash bros commentators. The commentators in brawlhalla are just narrators they don’t add anything to the viewing experience. SSBU commentators add such a personality to the clips that happen during tournaments.
yeah, and that's why i don't watch tournaments anymore, it feels literally empty, and it's obvious why that happends when you have a caster from another fighting game, everything they see in brawlhalla, it's a small combo with 3-4 hits separately when that in their main game they're casting it's impossible to see bc that games allows u to do like 20 hits in a few seconds. they just CAN'T understand which doing a doge read in brawlhalla is like that in their main game. and from casters which are interested in the game but has no idea what they're saying, it's not hard men, even a gold understand what attack they're doing, is you're really interested u must catch it up pretty quickly and easy bc brawlhalla has nothing compared to another fighting games about moveset, offensive, deffensive, attackset, etc
Thanks for this video, I’ve been watching less tournaments this year than when I started back in 2020 and this must be the reason why. I like Taza, Polimoto, Flambo and TKbreezy, but I miss having Duc and Sparky around FODA and Steven were a great casting combo too. I look at twitch chat less now that Dara is a regular caster cuz it’ll be filled with people saying they can’t understand her and I don’t blame them. It kinda feels like you have to get accustomed to her medical condition in order to start understanding her better. This was a great video that the BHcommunity needed.
person has speech impediment making it hard to understand them brawlhalla staff: yea lets hire them for a job where their job is literally just talking. arent we great human beings bro when i heard this i was like what? its like hiring someone wheelchair bound to work on a oil rig. like guys cmon i know nothing about the brawhalla scene.ive heard of the game but yea. wanted to say was a great video i enjoyed it
Bro I thought I was the only one who noticed. The commentators contribute heavily to the hype of the Tourney . Yet some cast like they ain't tryna be here . Brawlhalla needs to address this
Dara is one our best casters right now, and the fact that she’s hated for having a medical condition is so messed up. I dislike her as a person due to some things she’s said, but her casting is way better than most we have right now. TK has been casting Brawlhalla for a while now, and he has had countless time where he’s popped off and has good game knowledge, it just seems his passion for Brawlhalla died out.
This sucks so much man, the people you've mentioned here are absolutely excellent in their own games and I appreciate how you've mentioned that. As somebody who pays a lot of attention to both smash in addition to brawlhalla I can somewhat confidently say that your point about monetary motivation is almost certainly a lot more true than it might seem by just watching this video, legendary smash casters like Coney, ee, and of course TK have very often mentioned how little smash casting pays in comparison to other games at times. Very disappointing that one solution to that is to simply hop over to another game and screw around for a couple of days as opposed to attempting to get genuinely interested in the game ☹️
The highest performing NA player with a CRAZY record across 1v1s. Since eecently, he has been climbing back to his former glory after taking a break from Brawlhalla to explore other fighting game options. He effectively popularized scythe and showed the community what the weapon was capable of, not to mention his gauntlet strings/pressure were unmatched at the time. Became a very quick fan-favorite, but honestly at this point it's mostly nostalgia that clouds the casters' minds when commentating.
Admittedly, I haven't faithfully been watching every stream...but I did catch Dara's commentary. No offense to Dara, but I would prefer someone else. BUT, one thing I will say about Dara, they've spent time understanding the mechanics & techniques. So thumbs up on that, but I would prefer not to have them commentate. That aside, good video. I enjoyed this. Also, nice Sentinel gameplay.
Unrelated to casting, Markiemoo isn’t some new name from 2024, he’s Eat My Onions. He went by Markiemoo on console and changed names on PC, switched it back now that he started placing consistently.
this video deserves an subscription, but i think foda deserves dev vacation during tournaments i mean the time he would cast instead of developing the game
I remember YEARS ago, back in 2015-2016 people clowned on Foda saying things like "Shout more we can't hear the game" and all, yeah bro all of us wanted to hear those 16 back to back Dlight + Sairs on 1v1 and 4 ear destroying lances on 2v2's In time people realized Foda was the hype man of brawlhalla, how much LIFE and enthusiasm he brought to the matches, so everyone started to look for matches where Foda casted I used to love Duc and Sparky combo as well, not to mention Taza. Taza is the only caster who is NEVER afraid of being ruthless. When a player does a mistake, casters tend to give credit to his opponent, but Taza is always like "Bro what are you doing? You are in the finals, is your head screwed OK?" Over the many years I have followed this scene I have a lot more things to say, some positive, most negative about Brawlhalla's casting, butas of the 4 minute mark, I am pretty sure you will gonna do all that in 28 minutes. Great video already and finally someone who sheds light on this issue
I know this isn't the main focus of the video, but I'll take low-energy or inexperienced casting before some of the nonsense I've experienced as a spectator in the Smash scene. I don't even have to specify a game, at most I'd exclude 64 but even that scene has the issue of stagnation where the casters have seen it all before and it's hard to hype up moments. In the other games, I've routinely come across sets that I'd rather mute and watch with no audio than listen to the commentary. I do recognize that having it bad in one community isn't a reason for accepting lower standards elsewhere; this is more of me venting my exhaustion with what I've experienced, since the examples you've provided don't feel as bad in comparison. At the same time, I'm not part of the Brawlhalla community, so I'm definitely missing context. Also, if I'm giving the impression that my bad experiences are emblematic of the reason that Brawlhalla's casting is struggling since some Smash commentators also show up here, I'll say you should be glad that it's TKbreezy and Junebug that you're getting rather than some others I can think of.
after watching this video, my biggest gripe with the casters are still Daramgar, i just cant stand that commentary and no matter how hard i try to understand how someone with that condition seeks a job about talking and gets it, i cant understand why or how. Just absolutely destroyes the watching experience. Its like going to watch a Race car championship with the best and loudest cars in the world, and they are all just completely silent.
personally i would love if they bring guest casters? as in let megod, sandstorm etc cast for one game every now and then in other region tourney. Like how fun it would be.
How is that unfair? I've watched and played smash competitively for so long and TK is amazing here but watching him cast brawhalla was awful. I'm not knowledgeable about brawhalla and he didn't bring any hype of any info that could really explains to me in technical standpoint what was going on. He also didn't seem interested that much about the game either.
I’m just going to say that hiring caters that don’t know the game can be hilarious. Look up DOA casting Dota. They intentionally put two casters on the stream that didn’t know the game and it led to one of the funniest casts of all time.

I live and breathe this game... some of us truly care
Absolutely, you’re one of the greats! Thank you for continuing to put your heart and soul into casting when some of your peers have seemingly forgotten how to do so 🫡

you need to cast more bro
Honestly, trip this is a very good video with amazing points and details unfortunately its just highly unlikely anything is changing
I did my part, that’s all I can say 🤷♂️
@@TrippedUpwe thank you for that 🙏
tk literally said on a podcast that he only casts brawlhalla for the bag
Seriously? Please link me to that if you can find it
😂😂😂
100% agree with you the poor casting is the reason y I don't watch tourney anymore
If I comment of everything does it bring up engagement?
I sometimes watch muted
Yeah, I have the stream on rn, but I literally have the tab muted and will just show up to grab my hammer code and leave.
They should actually fire Dara , she has a medical condition but she isnt doing her job well because the audience can barely understand her. Its literally so hard to watch brawl tournaments without muting them
@@B.27y sameee
Thank you for addressing the Dara issue. And overall good points, BMG needs to see this.
They need to start taking notes from CS and Rocket League casting
@@TrippedUp rl casting is amazing
THANK YOU FOR MENTIONING JUNEBURG!!!! My goodness!
I thought I was going crazy thinking that man knows NOTHING about brawl. Also, props to Dara for actually knowing a lot about the game's mechanics, despite it not being her main game.
Junebug is an absolute gem in the melee community though! Highly recommend his TH-cam channel if you like analysis on characters
Flambo is really good at the game (2300 from what I remember)
@@tarttatin3549 oh I see, didn't know that
There's one other point I think is worth mentioning.
I agree, I love Taza’s casting. As I’ve said to other comments, I didn’t put all the casters I think are good or bad in my video
Taza is the goat
22:46 as bro says "he's going for it,he wants it so bad" after the spear sair,it gives me goosebumps EVERYTIME.
You can even hear the audience in hype as his tone goes up.
Amazing commentary, peak.
100% true and facts. WAtched the markie vs sandstorm set and my friend thought it was a fucking podcast.
Foda and Taza are the perfect commentating duo. They bring so much hype and inside knowledge it’s always a joy to watch when they get on the mic
Honestly I just feel bad for Dara. They should not be a commentator unless they can somehow get past the speech impediment. It suck’s because I can genuinely feel the passion and I think they’re a lot better now than when they started but I really just don’t like listening to them.
anyways
PLEASE FODA COME BACK ILL GIVE YOU ANYTHING PLEASE I LOVE YOU
How did they think it was a good idea to have her ? Why make a guy with no hands write a book
@@Zabu_BH if you genuinely think they hired dara for "being a good caster even with rotocism" or anything like that you are wrong. They did it for "inclusion" because NO ONE in the right mind would hire someone with a lot of drama left behind and rothacism. And what I mean by inclusion is, dara was not born like a she if yk what I mean (I fear TH-cam deleting my comment)
@@icefire4814 idc what ever someome is. For all i care is why do a job like casting when you have these spelling mistakes no offense.
@@Zabu_BH I agree with you, I was just answering your question
Answer: Inclusion
i love these passionate videos about games that are pretty niche in the grand scheme of things, reminds me that people care deeply about shit i don't play
I 100% agree with you! It is sad that I rather watch a streamer with like 20 viewers watching the tourney than watching the official stream, I even think I have watched reaction streams for like the last 2 Years.
And keep up the good work man your Videos are always fun to watch
I literally have to turn down the volume and play jazz in the back when watching tourneys its suffering to listen to them... great vid ong
Literally last night I watched a tdfw video about how junebug became the highest ranked dk in melee ever, I did not know junebug ever did commentary until this video.
This is legit one of the best brawlhalla videos I've seen
One of the best videos BH related that i've seen in a WHILE.
Hope they actually change the casters to other ppl from the BH community cuz rn i just watch muted or go to a pro player watch party.
Bro, the “scream” 5:34 was so unexpected
I don't know if this is still a case but I remember that I used to hate it when TK was casting because that guy couldn't even say the name of a player but rather just called them by the legend which he did a lot. This also proves your point that he isn't too invested in the Brawlhalla community because even names like Cody or Phazon got replaced by Barazza and Val by him
You have made so many points I made in my head while commenting on VODS. Thank you for the video! we hope that it will be fixed soon. great video. deserve more subs.
My thoughts if it was a video.
Good job, this was well made.
genuinely good vid man, brawlhalla's esports scene has insane potential but is held back by so many things, including casters.
making a video about the state of casting without mentioning the goat duo that is Foda-Stevens should be criminal.
All in all, great vid, your points were well-presented and I truly hope bmg sees this
Fair, like I’ve said to other commenters, I didn’t put every single caster who I think does a good job or bad job in this video since there are quite a few people I’d have to get through
12:36 kung fu panda showdown of legendary legends slander will not be tolerated. that game was genuinely a big part of my childhood playing it with my cousins was so fun
Hope this helps lol.
really well put together video manne
Flambo is one of my favorite casters. He knows exactly what to say to hype up the gameplay.
The Sting Ray comeback and the Acno 1v2 clutch at BCX are so hype because of Flambo.
Brother the acno 1v2 was me lol
@@Zipmasterflex LOL my bad. Goated casting though
OMG i was feeling this recently with all the tournaments, this video just confirmed for me that it wasn't just me that felt casters have had no energy for the past 2 years
"Tf is a down whight wecowewey" had me wheezing 😭
Last part about Dara spoke out my soul
When I saw junebug I kid you not I literally screamed “JUNEBUG??? JUNEBUG FROM PROJECT M AND MELEE????”
I feel exactly the same way.. what she says is good, how she says it, is weird.
Foda was the goat
and i remember i insanely enjoyed watching the "old BCX" with LDZ and boomie in the golden era
also great video and great background music hope to see more like this
As someone with a severe stutter, I wanted to be treated like how everyone else is treated, I don’t want special treatment.
Holy this got Twitter mad 😭, good video
Great video litterally exact same thoughts and im glad others agree with you too
Hopefully something changes
The best comparison between commentators is brawlhalla vs super smash bros commentators. The commentators in brawlhalla are just narrators they don’t add anything to the viewing experience. SSBU commentators add such a personality to the clips that happen during tournaments.
Been noticing that recently too, awesome video
underrated video fr! good job man
I’m glad you’re taking about this I only recently started watch bh esports again after 5 years and it just seemed off to me
yeah, and that's why i don't watch tournaments anymore, it feels literally empty, and it's obvious why that happends when you have a caster from another fighting game, everything they see in brawlhalla, it's a small combo with 3-4 hits separately when that in their main game they're casting it's impossible to see bc that games allows u to do like 20 hits in a few seconds.
they just CAN'T understand which doing a doge read in brawlhalla is like that in their main game. and from casters which are interested in the game but has no idea what they're saying, it's not hard men, even a gold understand what attack they're doing, is you're really interested u must catch it up pretty quickly and easy bc brawlhalla has nothing compared to another fighting games about moveset, offensive, deffensive, attackset, etc
I never noticed this because I watch the tournaments with my brother and we are always hyped, It's sad to see my fav fighting game sabotaging itself.
This was a great video that the BHcommunity needed.
person has speech impediment making it hard to understand them
brawlhalla staff: yea lets hire them for a job where their job is literally just talking. arent we great human beings
bro when i heard this i was like what? its like hiring someone wheelchair bound to work on a oil rig. like guys cmon
i know nothing about the brawhalla scene.ive heard of the game but yea. wanted to say was a great video i enjoyed it
2 years of amazing videos where the subs at???
I don’t post enough, need to get back on the grind
Bro, if we can get Boomie, eggsoup, and Foda to cast, that would be legendary
Great video
Bro I thought I was the only one who noticed.
The commentators contribute heavily to the hype of the Tourney . Yet some cast like they ain't tryna be here . Brawlhalla needs to address this
Dara is one our best casters right now, and the fact that she’s hated for having a medical condition is so messed up. I dislike her as a person due to some things she’s said, but her casting is way better than most we have right now.
TK has been casting Brawlhalla for a while now, and he has had countless time where he’s popped off and has good game knowledge, it just seems his passion for Brawlhalla died out.
R u high. Guy probably played the game a total of 2 hours
Don't trash talk retirement home shuffleboard. They be goin crazy.
Casting is such an important part of how we experience the gameplay and the lack of energy in these casters got to be stopped.
Without the speech impediment Dara would be the best caster RN tbh her commentary is so detailed
Awesome video, missed the chance to reference Dota caster OD PIXEL at 8:20 as the true caster rap god
This absolutely needs to be shouted from every rooftop! 🗣🗣🔥🔥
You did a fantastic job in this video. I will like so hopefully more and the right people see this. The situation needs to be fixed.
I love all clips when the brawlhalla casters pop off it’s so satisfying
This is an amazing video and you covered pretty much everything about the casting situation
So true man. I began casting Brawlhalla few months ago and I saw quickly the problem with Brawlhalla commenting. Hope it will improve with time...
2:25 Yes you do, who tf is that.
@@djinni2005 thx gang
I literally had to REWATCH the yuz vs STING RAY clip because Flambo made the gameplay so interesting, I didn't even realize he said "damn".
Respect to foda. Man rocked a weird look for years and honestly grew into it. Grew into my favorite commentator as well
I remember YEARS ago, back in 2015-2016 people clowned on Foda saying things like "Shout more we can't hear the game" and all, yeah bro all of us wanted to hear those 16 back to back Dlight + Sairs on 1v1 and 4 ear destroying lances on 2v2's
In time people realized Foda was the hype man of brawlhalla, how much LIFE and enthusiasm he brought to the matches, so everyone started to look for matches where Foda casted
I used to love Duc and Sparky combo as well, not to mention Taza. Taza is the only caster who is NEVER afraid of being ruthless. When a player does a mistake, casters tend to give credit to his opponent, but Taza is always like "Bro what are you doing? You are in the finals, is your head screwed OK?"
Over the many years I have followed this scene I have a lot more things to say, some positive, most negative about Brawlhalla's casting, butas of the 4 minute mark, I am pretty sure you will gonna do all that in 28 minutes.
Ive been in brawl community for so long and to see someone finally talk about how horrible the casting is, single handedly holding back the esport
personally i would love if they bring guest casters? as in let megod, sandstorm etc cast for one game every now and then in other region tourney. Like how fun it would be.
That one clip from TK breezy deemed weak is truly unfair. I’ve watched TK commentary Tekken, and smash, most reactions were bangers to say the least.
24:10 I do like how she cast, Since his accent reminds me of broken English we have more people who don't speak English natively
Really good video with valid points that I’ve noticed too
I’m just going to say that hiring caters that don’t know the game can be hilarious. Look up DOA casting Dota. They intentionally put two casters on the stream that didn’t know the game and it led to one of the funniest casts of all time.
