Thank you man for this video. Roland Cloud is as complex as some of the Roland synths unfortunately. But I love their sound. The only thing I didn’t really get is how you end up taking benefit from both Play 4 Life on Pro and Ultimate to get 3 plugins ? Can you buy both memberships at the same time ? Btw, not being able to buy the Model Expansions is indeed a bummer for me as I have the Jupiter Xm.
I use zenology pro, very powerful synth especially if you like pads / atmospheres, and Synth Fx. Roland acoustic pianos, wind instruments, and guitars are not great, but ok. Roland electric pianos and organs are also awsome. I would like for Roland to add more features to Zenology pro though, but it seems like they are holding back because they don't want to eat into their Roland hardware profits.
I do think , real acoustic instruments in zeno are great for layering or as secondary stuff in productions , if you wanna realsim , nothing beats sampled library unless you go real thing ;) Imho HW will live long simply because how zeno can be demanding in ressources and badly optimised at this stage imho .... I absolutly love it , but found myself using it less and less because of bad maintenance ... bugs i notified them 3 years ago still not smahsed (and a serious one on the zenology sh 101 mod and env on filter is inverted ..one is the other)
No , Legends are individual plugins , zenology does contain Fantom ,XV 5080 ect ...stuff , for exemple , ze,nology has an expansion (you have to buy) iof the JUNO 106 while legends proposes the juno 106 as a stand alone (understand no need for zenology ) witch is at the same more accurate . So you jhave two choices , going on legends you need , or want a platform that let's you have an "omnisphere" like approach regrouping pretty a big part of the catalog . Zenology is like getting HW jupiter X / XM Juno X , same concept but in software .... not limited on the number of parts (in fact depending on your computer and how many instances you can insert) ;) Hope it's clearer ...
@@ZozillaThaGreat well, because life is too short, Zenology seems like the key to the future (to learn all the legend synths maybe would take two lifetime, furthermore when we want to make music and not just be mad about synthesis). Avec plaisir , par contre , Zenology , l'interface et pas top (comme tu as pu t'en rendre compte ) , c'est d'ailleurs pourquoi j'ai pris le pack avec les expansions , pas donné mais les interfaces du Juno , sh 101 , Jupiter , Jx ect ... sont vraiment sympa à tafer !!! Si tu veux le son authentique le plus proche du HW : legend . Une option sympa c'est le system 8 , en fait pour moi c'est un caméléon des legends , be sure to test it !! il a les formes d'ondes ect et les filtres juno , jupiter ect ... donc sur le papier , c'est le zenology des legends , sauf que tu n'as pas tout les synths a base de sample (D50 , JD 800 , XV 5080 ) .... N'hésites pas si tu as d'autres question , j'aurais du faire une vidéo en Français , j'aurais pu être plus précis et complet .
;) Au passage exellent ce que tu fait avec ton groupe , j'ai check ta vidéo opening sur youtube , je me suis ambiancé lol Du coup je comprend to besoin , d'avoir un "best of roland "in the box .... Ya aussi d'autres options ;)

Cloud is a good value for the ultimate. New drum kits for my TD50X, weekly sample packs, ACB based synths. I cant complain
