I think Florian mentioned he had a troubled childhood and if you listen to Dolph's TED talk he went through a divorce himself so I wonder if some way the two kind of fill a void in each other's lives as an honorary father and son.. (You can see the mutual pain in their performances as two men who share that "us against the world" mentality)
Just watching creed 2 yesterday, and to be honest I am rooting more on Viktor especially right at the end, when his mom abandoned him and his father again..that scene is heart breaking

Man, I really hope that Florian will choose to continue an acting career (while obviously receiving more acting lessons along the way). Creed 2 definitely showed that he has potential. I can totally imagine him as Bane in those new Batman movies with Robert Pattinson. He certainly looks more like Bane than 5'8" Tom Hardy.
