TSA approved locks are not nearly as secure as you might think: what you need to know

TSA approved locks are not nearly as secure as a lot of people think.
There are lots of issues with them. For one, the master key was leaked several years ago and now anybody can pick one up, especially if they have a 3-D printer.
TSA approved locks can easily be picked and it's also just not hard to break through a zipper on a luggage bag.
With that said, you can still get some use out of these. That's because they can help deter some thieves and also help keep your luggage from accidentally opening up during your travels.
