I made a few concept Demon Slayer alternate timelines and endings inside my head and this is one of the timelines: While no one is looking, Tanjiro does agree with Muzan to become the new Demon King, but he tells Muzan he needs to do something. And what is it? Well he just backstabs Muzan and absorbs his cells, his essence, everything. And then afterwards he gets the chance to eat a nearby civilian while the people are distracted trying to treat the hashira, and he does EXACTLY that. And apparently the person tasted so good he goes on an eating/killing spree, killing a bunch of people and the remaining Hashira.

they keep fighting until sun kills full power muzan
and tanjiro has access to 2 breathing styles: water and sun + he can use the Movement of 1st thunder breathing form (not full form, movement only)

Upper 2: okay boom doma immediately kills tanjiro instead of playing since muzan would be pis-
Upper 2 (fake): okay lets say he plays (tanjiro still dies) cuz upper 2 gets bored eats nezuko and becomes GOD
Upper 2 (fake but more fake): tanjiro in a state of matter doesn't let his sister die gets mark and transparent world gets flashback selfless state,rego,u gets motivation and BOOM suddenly doma just uses trump card and kills tanjiro kills rengoku ect..
Still bad timeline but more fake
Upper 2 (fakest): fp rengoku and Tanjiro basically allmost kill doma BUT upper 2 gets serious (doesn't use trump)
And uh upper 2 just kills rengoku no hesitation and dies since tanjiro did the 13th form with a miracle
But tanjiro still faints and dies when doma is fading (jk doma just regen head)
Upper 2 (BUT DAM WAY TO FAKE LIKE BRO): doma doesn't regen head but extremely kills tanjiro and everyone
Tanjiro dies still while battleing upper 6 lol

The only way to kill Tanjiro is to get asorbed but as seen in the manga human tanjiro was able to hurt muzan while he was asorbing him and this is demon one
One thing is wrong because the tanjiro was fighting back with his consciousness and if he was conscious he would be 10 times faster
I feel like that the reason demon king tanjiro was too slow to kill giyu was because when a demon transforms it takes a lot of energy which is why demons go berserk trying to eat for energy

You forgot Muzan’s absorption, before Tanjiro even regains his senses, Muzan will touch him one and completely assimilate his body, and Muzan can just eat him and gain immunity to sunlight
You also forgot, since Muzan is the progenitor of all demons, (doesn’t matter if there is another Demon King, Muzan is still the progenitor) he can insta-nullify the regeneration of any demon, just because Tanjiro is the demon king doesnt mean he’s the progenitor of demons, that role is still with Muzan, moreover unlike Muzan Tanjiro has eaten no humans, which means his strength, speed, etc are all super low
ALONG with the fact, that in the manga, Tanjiro recieved 4th drug Muzan’s blood, which is considerably weaker than Prime Muzan’s blood, basically a portion of Tamayo’s poison is still inside Demon King Tanjiro

Now this is correct except for one thing that immediately changes both turns Muzan can absorb demons and humans alike. Now unlike eating humans and demons absorbing the is destroying their skin and taking all there stats as they die naturally you would have to be stronger to be able to absorb them. Since poisoned Muzan is stronger than beserk mode tanjiro Muzan would absorb him. Same with regular Muzan but quicker and can do it in tanjiros senses too. There isn’t any evidence that shows that tanjiro is truly immortal as this was stated by an very beat up Giyu who isn’t even in his senses due to the overload of things that just happened just like how yoriichi almost cut muzans head off with red blade he could do it to dkt because yoriichi naturally had these things where as the new gen demon slayers are barley grasping the power of the red blade.
My theory is simple. I think that demon king Tanjiro could not regenerate his body, because there are so much Muzan’s cells in his blood. Then, Muzan could easily destroy DKT by attacking him. This fight will take < 5 minutes, I think. Tanjiro could easily regenerate all slashes, but he couldn’t regenerate Muzan’s slashes. But... Tanjiro do not need to challenge Muzan, because he can finally go to the bitch and relax in the sunlight for a little bit, while Muzan is in rage of failed iq test.

If he hadn't put all of his blood into tanjiro then he would ether die or become a normal demon.
