As requested by many of you, in a video I released a few weeks ago, I decided to make a Kaiju battle diorama. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any Kaiju in the right scale. I did, however, find two Pokémon from Bandai in the right scale… if Pokémon were the size of Kaiju. Instead of Godzilla vs. Kong, I placed Charizard and Dragonite in a head-to-head titan Pokémon battle diorama.

      PLEASE MAKE A RODEO
Make a rodeo with a mechanical bull cowboys would take take or ride on. It can even be a modified real bull or something like it. IT WOULD FIT INTO YOUR WESTERN MECHANICAL THEME!!!

I think an interesting thing to use the filaments for would be to use them as part of a spider's web, perhaps as the major anchoring lines? Something about the concept of a giant, glowing net of sticky webbing really sounds neat to me.

    Truly a sensational build.
Perhaps, if you enjoyed having a Pokemon themed diorama, you could do more of them? Fire vs fire based battle? Perhaps a shiny white ice beam? Grass-type firing a solar beam? Or you could branch out to one of the other anime's like Dragon Ball Z (the kamehameha) or a Digimon battle?
    I'll shut up now :)

I hope that your Pokémon / Kaiju "mashup" scene was as fun to make as it is to look at!
Bandai does make some incredible kits, agreed. But while they are known for their "Star Wars," "Gundam," and "Pokémon" subjects in the 21st Century; in the last half of the 20th Century, Bandai was known for their highly detailed, (and not just "for the time" - for ANY time, really,) 1/48th scale WW2 Armor Kits. Many of these even included engines and interiors. If you ever get the chance to build one of these iconic kits, I highly recommend you do. I can't wait to see what kind of diorama you will dream up with one of those kits!

These filament lights would make awesome lasers for a Battletech diorama! You can find tons of different mechs from one of the box sets, or you can find free ones online for 3-d printing. You could do a battlefield scene with several mechs and different colored laser blasts going out from the weapons. Love the videos, cheers!

Your use of the LED filaments alongside other materials to make explosions, smoke, or podracer power couplings is soooo cool. You've really inspired me. I'm building a kit of Anakin's podracer right now and I can't wait to bumble around and figure out for myself how to route some wires and make cool-looking power couplings for the engines. It takes your dioramas to the next level! Thanks for helping me rekindle my interest in building models!
One idea for the LED filaments: Ghost Busters immobilizing a big monster ghost! You could even make them Western-themed ghostbusters taking down a Western-themed ghost if you wanted, but idk if the scale would be right for your dioramas.

Idle 1am thought, if you had wired the power in the base to a sewer cover at either side, you could have used a pad on the base of each pokemon to supply the power to the lights, and had a modular diorama, with the potential to change the battle scene out for different pairs whenever you wanted........

Awesome build Boylei!! I've never been that into Pokemon, but found this video compelling none the less. Having lived in Texas most of the last five decades I can attest to the fact that most everything is bigger here. While I've never seen any Kaiju personally I do know there are a few 6-lane roads, so this was probably near Houston. (I don't get down there very often.)
As for other uses of LED filiments, have you thought of doing something in the Tron universe?? I loved all the vehicles from the last film and I think you could do an amazing diorama based in/on the Grid. (A lightcycle race or a lightplane dogfight would be epic!!)

These filaments would be fab as neon - think a Las Vegas Strip scene from the early 90s when I think Vegas was at the top of its neon phase. Perhaps there's an action movie diorama to be made with that as the background - perhaps that Smoking Cowboy sign comes to life and fights another famous Vegas feature, or a The Stand thing, or `- in a somewhat modern-era Wild West where your creatures come for a face-off.

This is one epic Pokemon Battle on Kaiju level! 😁
I have an Idea for a project containing lots of glowing filament. Do you know the movie _Forbidden Planet?_ A 1956 Sci-Fi movie with a young Leslie Nielsen in the leading role. There is one scene at the end of the movie when the original invisible Krell-Beast attacks the flying saucer from the earth. The Beast is lit up in a red glowing force field showing the huge dimensions of a Minotaurus-like monster. You can imagine red glowing bolts of light lighting up the shadowy figure of a giant monster. That would be a diorama of epic proportions!

This is awesome. I'd love to have seen more going on with the environment, like trees and even lights in the building. To make it slightly more comical adding tiny people looking out the window at the carnage unfolding. I'd have maybe added smashed concrete at their feet too. Minor-ish details to what is already a cool looking piece. Ignore me though, I always look for small details to add.

I'd like to see a Super saiyan 2 vegeta powering up... I'm sure those filaments would create a crazy lighting effect... Keep up the good work bud, you're excellent!
