LEC is getting what they deserve for firing Quickshot, that dude was the heart and soul of LEC and kept everything on track and now itâs just inflated egos thinking theyâre more interesting than the games. LCS used to be exactly like that but theyâre actually bringing it back slowly.
the moment i saw that fist i knew Yeon was someone NA needed to keep and build up. Dude has the drive that NA usually doesn't have with our goofy ass "just happy to be here" mentality
After the "punch the monitor" , Yeon is now my fav ADC in LCS
Holy shit, it's like if we actually get to know the players on any level outside of cringe 'try to hard to go viral' jokes and skits from shitty PR social media 'experts', we'll feel more connected and enjoy watching more. Just this 10 minute interview has me more hyped to watch LCS than anything they've put out in years.

The problem with the underdog mentality in NA is that at this point the thought of being the best is gone. The biggest thing is fan base tbh, if you have a shit ton of fans that don't care win or lose(BRAZIL), then you get insane underdog mentality, whereas people still have (for some reason lol) expectations of NA doing well(expectations =/= hope) and that pressure is what kills. We either need more people playing in NA or to steal Brazilian fans for NA. WAIT A MINUTE.

What LEC content? There is no content at all in LEC being made aside from Euphoria podcast and it's probably next on the chopping block. We lost Rap battles, music videos, Quizzes and games, Match of the Week hype videos, Season hype videos in general. Guess that Riot didn't enjoy LEC being better than LCS so they pulled the plug. RIP LEC 2019-2022 You'll be missed
LCS had similar cuts last year, LEC had an extra year of investment and LCS had an extra year to adapt to the cuts. You'll see better stuff in LEC in a year hopefully

The LEC has always been, and will likely always be, a higher level of play than the LCS. It's a miracle that the LCS held onto its Worlds spots so long, being the only major region to never win a trophy, and never even reach a single Worlds final in 14 years. With the merge, Riot has acknowledged what we all have known for years.
That being said, the LCS is making steps to make NA a more watchable region, which is great to see. The Bo3 format is much better than Bo1s. That's arguably the biggest thing. But also merging with some fellow minor regions to bring more eyes to NA players could help sponsorships, which in turn could allow more investment into the breakthrough/challenger scene in NA.
With the exception of G2, you canât really say LEC as a whole is a better region anymore lmfao

definitely not always. before 2018/9, eulcs was perceived as inferior to lcs (in terms of gameplay and interest), that's why so many eu players moved to na.

You have to understand that NA v EU is the highlight of the entire year for NA fans. EU literally doesn't care about West v West series. EU has its sights set on the East. That's why, despite often falling short, EU beats the East a lot more than NA, and EU actually has a presence at the business end of major tournaments.
Your feelings aren't evidence. You "thinking" the level of play is higher isn't good enough unfortunately. Tournament finishes are evidence, and based on the most recent evidence, it is EU1 > NA1 > EU2 > NA2.
