I am envious of your shop and all of the equipment you have to fabricate whatever you need. I worked in Parts Stores in the 70's before adventuring to dealerships. I don't trust parts people these days as they usually don't have the training or experience. I look up what I need and place the order myself. Keep the great videos coming!
Been enjoying your show. I just got my project running. I had it built. BBC. Same kinda stories. Aluminum long water pump edelbrock. Same pulley system. I had to counter sink my March pump pulley for clearance for electric fans. Engine starts and water runs out of an unused accessory bolt hole. There was an internal void from a passage that opened inside that hole. I had that pump for 3 years. So I plugged it with a stainless bolt and thread sealer. I wander if anyone else had that problem? Hm
Great video, It is a really great public service message that you address shop safety we all have near disasters and some disasters that if we were alone could be trouble. Love the attention to detail and the thought process You and I have a similar way of thinking. I often feel time working on heavy equipment, big trucks brings out this thinking. Machine shop/industrial welding is also excellent training. Keep the great work coming Thanks for your efforts
Lathes are dangerous. I seen a video of a guy get his clothes get caught in an big industrial size lathe and it spun him around until his body parts were all over the shop
😊 I heard you say you were going to install lock washers on the brackets . Can u think of anyplace GM installed them ? I can’t and I have been in the business since 1970 and I just released it . I try not to now but old habits die hard . Just food for thought . Love the vids by the way .
@@Nova-1977 You are correct, never saw that they did. Years of working on Harleys and race cars makes me turn to loctite, lock washers, and lock nuts. Thank you sharing and watching!

Good plan. Build your own thing, create a parts list/spec sheet to keep with the car.
nice video!
