Great blues song, I remember it from when he played it supporting Midnight Oil in London in July 2022. Both him and the Oils were great.

Stunning. Filthy I only found this gem today. Came here a searching after your ARIA award tonight. Keep doing what you do, no matter what. Those of us who dig it are actually out here in our thousands.

""I want my money back"' - Haha! - Legendary! I was fortunate enough to see William at Smiths Alternative at Canberra a few years back. He 'assaulted'' me with his performance - I have no other word for it. It was truly amazing - I was transfixed by this most powerful Ned Kelly-esque character with such brilliant stories to tell. William's songs epitomise to me the fearless young Australian who I know lives in all our hearts. Congratulations William on your Aria award - you absolutely deserve it. You are completely authentic and I wish you every success in the future.

I momentarily thought it said: 'I want my body back.' A nod to the resurrection but no. Love this artist.

Love this guy, his group. Echoes of Mondo Rock and looks, but so original.

G'day Greg, thanks for the comment. That's definitely one opinion, there are many. Not sure any of them have much to do with this song though, or maybe I'm wrong. Cheers WC

Yep commercialisation of the most important message for we homo saps does bring lamentation. Well done.

I might come and see you at the old museum in Bne on Saturday night even if Jesus was a cunning Roman construct...after all, the Romans weren't all bad - they did give us roads and aqueducts!! Oh - love the song too!! lol

This is an interesting song. This isn’t a cover is it? It reminds me of Johnny Cash for some reason.

Because he is a well trained Baritone with some bass voice notes too , Very strong vocal , huge sound on medium-low notes,
White Buffalo , Vedder , Hozier, they all are well trained baritones too
