A few tips as a 2.6 hog player: try to activate your king tower whenever possible, u can use cannon and skeletons/ice spirit to activate king vs mega knight for example. if you use ur ice golem to kite stuff like in 4:49, placing the skeletons ruins it. if you just let the pekka follow the ice golem to the other side you can get it to about half hp while u easily deal with the firecracker using an ice spirit far left to not attact pekka, or you can hog on the right then cannon while the pekka is being pulled and fully defend it while also attacking. you can use any troop to defend from a firecracker and activate ur king tower, like in 6:29 if u place skeletons 2 tiles left 1 tile up from right tower u activate king and take 0 dmg on princess. you can also defend an electrowizard fully with ice spirit alone if u place it a few tiles away from him (like at 6:47, saving ur cannon) cannon positioning is also very importnat so dont put it so close to the bridge exposing it to danger. vs giant (and variants) u can put the cannon more towards the opposite side and it will still pull them, giving you a bit more time to hit them while they walk towards it. There are a lot more tips and tricks as 2.6 is about defending in the most optimal way but there are some very big ones that can help a lot, especially in mid ladder. good luck
Good tips but you just wasted an ice golem at 0:33 when you shouldn't. Don't throw the skeletons till the troops follow the ice golem and the golem dies,then you still have your cannon which you could use skeletons in that position ! Just a tip so you don't waste an -2 extra elixir. Good video tho !
Hey man Don't listen to that guy. You should cycle your ice golem and skeleton but they can also be used in defense. Putting ice golem and skeletons behind won't work because it can be countered easily by any other troop. Try to cycle cards by putting ice golem and skeles at back There is a reason why this deck is called hog cycle.@@SnaxCR
@@Butcher_x_Lalobro the op meant,he should have waited until the ebarbs crossed the bridge ,then he should have used it,but he mis timed it and followed by cannon,due to which ebarbs pathed towards the cannon,not the ice golem,hence he got wasted
Yeah, a hog 2.6 player is impossible to beat unless if they are bad or if you have a big spell with which you can predict where they are going to place it. I mean, the defense of hog 2.6 is all about the positioning.
I use an Evo drill deck to counter midladder players💀 Evo drill, skeleton dragons (if you want to use evo Firecracker, you can, i normally use skele drags) dart goblin, goblin barrel, goblin gang, goblin curse, rage and royal recruits. Ive pushed up to 8000 with it. Pretty damn strong. If i had evo recruits the evo loadout would be drill and recruits lol

The real problem with midladder are over levelled menace, i have most of my deck at lvl 11 and my opponents always have lvl 14 megacancer and pekka

Oh I cut the cards from the original video and I put them in the left. It depends what editing software you have.
