I've only ever caught 1 shad, no karanteen, blacktail or anything else. Would be really fun to watch because not many SA fishing channels do this. . .well I don't think anyone as really.
Definetly bronze bream, they sometimes run towards u when hooked andthen find ledges to rub up against... I lost many where the hook was cut of due to abrasion and I had many experiences when the hook just break off as I picked them up but fortunately many times they fell at my foot and I was able to pick them up...
