Lifelong console player here. Always getting caught up in debates about whether mouse or controller is easier for shooters. All I’m sayin is I just today realized you can play rust on Mac and without ever playing mouse and keyboard I’m goated at aiming somehow. Literally point and click. This changes everything for me, console rust is such a nightmare. No longer just a watcher, now I’m a player.

I know this probably won’t be seen but I just have a suggestion for the game. Has anyone thought about adding an offline base feature to rust so when the player logs off your base can’t be raided to promote more online raids? I was thinking to avoid people taking advantage of this and logging out instantly you can make the base raid-able for 30 mins to an hour after the player gets off. To know if a base is inactive a symbol can pop up where the target symbol pops up when your hostile to outpost. For players that don’t get back on your base becomes raid-able after 24 hours of inactivity. To test this you can release it on some servers to see how well it does. This makes it easier for the casual player to play and enjoy rust instead of getting wiped out while they’re at work and can’t defend what they worked so hard to build.
