Protect yourself from other players, and kill them for meat. Create alliances with other players and form a town. Do whatever it takes to survive.

For anyone wondering, Heli, Scientist, bradly, and most other npc damage is calculated based on the sum of your total protections. A hazzy gives 30/30, a riot helmet and bandana gives 30/90, and allows you to wear more gear. Always go with your best non-hazzy kit if you can
I miss when it was just bite damage, pulling up to loil with a hide poncho and riot helmet was sick

its because npc dmg doesn't factor in armors that cover multiple bodyparts and instead treats it as just one, so hazzy is 30 instead of 90. and also damage reduction only happens in groups of 50. so as long as you have 50, 100, or 150 protection, you will see dmg reduction.
cheapest way to get 50 protection is bone helmet bone armor, or burlap shirt and pants with wooden helmet and bandana.

Dude, in blackjack, the dealer can't stand below 17. If they have anything below 17 they automatically have to hit, it's not optional. So, if you have 12-16 as your starting hand, and the dealer is showing anything from a 2 - 6, the play is to stand, because the probabilty is that their hole card is high and they hit another high card and bust. Thanks for all your videos man, you are the Rust GOAT.

@@xDubstepify That is how it works. Some casinos vary on their rules, but that is standard basic play. I'm not getting into doubling, insurance, splitting and other shit. Read a book. At no point does the comment say "Stand on everything". Try reading things before you incorrectly correct them and make yourself look like a tool.
you said stand on everything if the dealer has anything from a 2-6. thats just simply not true. you're 100% supposed to hit 12 vs 12 and that's just one example. maybe you should read a book

Fumbling on a gamble with the last bit of scrap, outposts filled with gambling addicts and beggars, getting overrun in a wooden shack by an mp5 team twice deep than yours at the start of any building phase, suiciding yourself with a killbind on oilrig (happened to me as well so now I re-binded it to a combination of three different buttons which you would never otherwise press simultaneously), "I've got a plan" turning into "That did not go to plan" in a split second, that graceful headbutt on a horse, getting killed by the satchels' RNG, some nice people helping others out to make a comeback, and then giving the loot away to some other random really sums up the chaos of the EU Rust.

I believe you can make your kill bind a combination of buttons (like alt and then the regular button). Could stop the cat situation from happening in the future

Spoon wondering how the armor system works for npcs, it applies all the damage modifiers for all your armour pieces seperately. So a hazzy only reduces damage by a little bit because even though it covers the whole body, it's only one piece of armor. So even a prim kit is better for oil, sometimes even just like a shirt and jacket and riot helmet is better

I live in a small and really poor town in liberia with tons of violence, both my parents have died from rebels and my brother died not long ago aswell beacuse they wanted his bike. I havent been the same since my brother died and ive been depressed for weeks and not been able to do anything but after watching this video i was filled with energy and i finally started to feel normal again! I think i will go out and try to get my life back even though you cant get very far here in liberia beacuse there isnt anything here but this video inspired me to go out and do my best and that things arent so bad afterall! Npc damage is all you're armors armor added together divided by 6. So a hazmat gives 30% but 5 % because its divided by 6. It doesn't care about where they hit. If you have 3 pieces that each give 15% it will be 15+15+15=45% then it protects 45% divided by 6

I don't think the world can fathom how almost philosophically complete this whole video as a stroy feels, this was the best slice of life view of the whole Rust experience. From the most pathetic low to the highest high. Them starting as a naked being handed loot by sheer luck, blasting it away and then them giving all the loot away to the next guy also got it by luck as they complete this cycle of loot.

Spoon a 6 showing for the dealer is great for you. Means they have a 16 mostly likely and will have to hit and probably bust. So in that spot with 15 you stand and make the dealer take the risk.
