I hand feed several gray squirrels on my back porch, and they are quiet, the only time they make some low squealing noises if they are playing or fighting.
I love this video it seems like the 2 red squirrels were having a debate about the weather then a grey squirrel 🐿️ came over to see what the commotion was going on and once the grey squirrel was informed he didn’t want anything to do with them he just wanted the nuts lol 😂
Nobody is territorial more than Red Squirrels. It's a well-known theory that they might have nitroglycerin for blood, or perhaps their brains are just wired differently. Poor old Fox Squirrel just can't understand why we can't all just get along....
Those are hilarious 😂 I just saw what I think is the first fox squirrel I have seen on this place in the 30 years I have been here. Like the pileated woodpeckers they seem to prefer the planted pines nearby to my second growth.
We have gray squirrels here in Oregon. They will scuffle with each other at the feed area- but they are very quiet compared to these little red squirrels. 😊

The translation at bottom of screen would be great. I think the one on the left, said Yo Momma is so Fat , she has little Squirrels orbiting around her.
These two little guys obviously see you as a protector because they kept creeping closer to you and looking up with a hey aint you gonna do something posture.

There must be local variations. I'm in Michigan, and they are pretty quiet. The chipmonks make enough ruckus for all.
