This was such a hard episode to watch with Aris....To see him go from running around and being goofy to being so lethargic was so heart breaking 💔. So incredibly sad.
I wonder why they didn’t do an MRI on the orangutan? That would have told them if a clot let loose and went to his brain. It’s really rare but I’ve seen it happen in dogs days after surgery. Maybe I’ve seen 2 over the last 50 years.

An MRI test would tell them what's wrong & I'm betting it is a stroke via clot. I'm a retired RN & I've seen this happen what I would consider frequently after surgery...especially with seniors. The brain or lungs. Usually this is what you see when it goes to the brain. If it goes to the lungs, you most likely will die since healthcare plans kick people out of the hospital too soon. I've seen videos where local hospitals will perform a test for animals & mummies. This is so sad. 😢

Poor Aris. The surgery in its knee went well but how did a blood clot travel to the brain when the problem was in the knee? Could the knee injury create blood clots that was not able to dissolve in the blood steam travel to the brain? #StayStrongAris
VERY simple explanation so excuse if I’ve left out an important step. Well blood is forced throughout the body by the heart beating. In this case it would seem a blood clot formed somewhere the knee area and was dislodged, forcing it thru the artery until it blocks the blood altogether. It can occur anywhere along the artery, brain, lung, brain any of which would result in a stroke. Poor Aris, this breaks my heart!!
@@acm9711 Figured a blood clot would form in the knee and got a free ride throughout the body by using the arteries from the heart pumping the blood but the question is why didn’t the blood clot dissolve in the bloodstream? Some blood clots would dissolve on its own. The veterinarian clearly said that the surgery in the knee went well. Think about it. If there were no surgery, would Aris still have a blood clot in the brain? Why couldn’t the blood clot just dissolve on its own?!? 😫😖😭 #LifeSucks
I was a paramedic for many years. Had a car accident one night and I climbed through the sunroof to get to a female patient. Dash fractured one of her knees. Anyways I went up to her room a couple of days later and she remembered me telling her friends that I saved her. The day she was to be released I was on my way up to her room before I went on duty. WHEN THIS WORLDIS OVER YOU WIKL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. I PRAY YOU YOU REPENT AND CONFESS CHRIST BEFORE THAT HAPPFENS!
complications with surgeries happen all the time with animals and humans its unfortunate and i love orangs to death and we cant afford having lost this little guy it breaks my heart. but these people gave him a good as close to natural life as possible. if released to the wild he wouldve been long dead having been born in captivity. at least he wasnt stuck in a box his whole life forced to be a pet, or beaten and forced to box or perform like so many unfortunetly are. your vitriol should be directed at those types of people who profit of the suffering of these beautiful intelligent creatures, not the caring staff at this facility trying to provide them the happiest most natural life possible given their original circumstances. you need to self reflect.
They are probably no different than when God made us, every day is numbered. He knows exactly when we are gonna have our number called. N these care givers know what they're doing, if they would've been able to see the future I know that they wouldn't have put him n with the adults. Like they said he was probably bein disciplined by an adult.
