When you were turning the camshafts by hand- presuming the engine was in the safe position (all pistons half way down) !!

What year is the car, I have read on Peugeot forums people having problems with 2019 to 2020 year cars with the chain. People complaining of a ticking or rattling noise. Apparently Peugeot put on the wrong size chain to the 1.5 engines, it should be 8mm and they put on 7mm.
I have a 2020 Peugeot 1.5 diesel, hopefully mine will be ok as long as I change the oil regularly. Good video

Is that thumping noise coming from the engine when you start it normal? My vauxhall vivaro van is making the same noise which uses the same engine
