I don’t know how I’m just now finding this but you captured the essence of this pairing so beautifully. I don’t believe for a second these two are really done. Something that deep and strong and special doesn’t just disappear. Their friendship and the way they continue to be there for one another, I believe is what will bring them back together. He is her best friend. Her secret keeper. Her rock.

The show in general is a bit cheesy so I can understand how it might not be for everyone. But then even within the fanbase, although zomax is the popular ship, there's quite a number of people who can't stand that Max has feelings for Zoey.
