I think it's important to stick to stocks that are immune to economic policies. I'm looking at NVIDIA and other AI stocks. It seems AI is the trajectory most companies are taking, including even established FAANG companies. Maybe there are other recommendations?
I bought into NVIDIA around September because my financial advisor recommended it to me. She said the company is selling shovels in a gold rush. It accounted for almost 80% of my market return this year.

I see their revenue growing YoY and I see consistent debt payment. This is my criteria for small companies. If they break even in a few years, the brown circles in my eyes will change into a dollar sign shape and turn green. Just don't take out any more debt, pay off your bondholders and creditors, and hopefully I see my 3rd criteria, for less uncertainty, and more conviction, which is a growing cash balance and cash flow. Not looking good on the cash, so get that debt down before that cash runs out.

But truthfully, I've only been investing on my own for like 1 month so I'm no expert. I'm only $2500 in and now it's worth $4739 but I ran out of money and I owe $3,000 in taxes.😠
