30+ yrs plant-based, currently vegan. Tofurkey is the OG, but the gravy has what I can best describe as a chemical taste, but as you said, the Tofurkey needs the moisture from the gravy. When Tofurkey was the only option, I'd make my own mushroom gravy. Now, Celebration Field Roast & Gardein are my two favorites. Great job, you two!

Thank you for sharing! I can sit here in Norway and just envy you guys and all the opportunities you have 🤣🥰😋
We do NOT have the same options, but it has become better over the years. I have been vegan for 15 years this fall and the world is a different place both in the USA and here in Norway 🥰🐾🌱
Thanks again, love from Johanne, Norway 🇳🇴

Tofurkey *does* make ham deli slices! Peppered and hickory smoked are my favorite after ham-style though

I freaking LOVE that Tofurkey ham, but I haven't been able to find it in store since last spring 😭I did just order the Tofurkey roast with my latest grocery pick up, though, so I'm excited to try that.

Tofurky has a smoked ham deli slices. It's my FAVORITE!! It comes in a red box. I can only find it a couple of places here locally in our SoCal area.

I have not had the "ham" but I feel like there is so much that can be done with it... cube and make a hash, samich (thinking fried bolognaish) traditional or breakfast, add to a green bean style casserole or to something like mustard greens, or add to a pot of beans. Options seem endless. Thanks for sharing. These can be a little expensive and/or unavailable so it's cool that y'all took from the brands that at least something should be available to most ppl. Luv the content

I served the Trader Joe’s roast for my sister and I last year. She’s not vegan but enjoyed! It was fun to have a “main dish” on the table alongside the non vegans but I wasn’t crazy about it. I also would say always read the instructions the week before prepping, because I think there may be defrosting time needed for some. ❤
