To Citizen720: I'm glad to have received the comments from you, a fan of classical music. I was also an enthusiastic fan of classic music during high school days. But the simplicity and down-to-earth feeling of folk music caught my heart and soul which has become my essential nourishment in my life. Thank you. T.Hashimoto(kentuckfolk)
I recently started thinking about the Stanley Brothers and pulled up some of their standards on You Tube including "Will You Miss Me When I'm Gone". I got to wondering about other versions of this song available on You Tube. I kept scrolling and listening to different versions and eventually came to your version which I really enjoyed. I always thought it was kind of funny that my two most favorite types of music are classical (Bach) and old time folk/bluegrass music. Anyway, thank you sir for posting this video.
To BlueRidgeMtns100: Thank you for the comments. I have had an interest in your country folk music, especially old time, for more than 60 years. When I was young I used to listento Far East Network Radio Station in Japan run by US Military Office, which then led me to import the relative records from US. I am still singing daily by myself alone tho' I'm 79.T.Hashimoto(kentuckfolk)
