Thanks! That helped a bunch. I learned to get the fast travel upgrade. After you the 3rd jewelery bag set up camp right there and fast travel to Emerald Ranch to sell it. Then taking the train back to Wallace Station get you very close right back to this chest, it costs $9 but I believe it's overall more efficient than fast travelling to strawberry and walk all the way up there every time. Maybe there's a faster way?
If you ride the opposite direction, under the bridge to the far side of the junction and then return, its shorter and quicker. Closing the box makes it easier to see also, but getting a million will take you almost 20,000 rides. That's not short or simple. It's tedious af.

There's a similar location near the moonstone pond. It's the cabin with a tree fallen on top of it. Head through the roof and search the nightstand for a jewelery bag (large). Leave the drawers open, and either save scum or leave far enough and return.
This kind of glitch its happening to GTA V too remember those every guns can pick it up in the whole map? Just pick it up and leave the Area at great distance and came back again and then the pickable items will respawn again
The burnt town of limpany gold glitch is the best way to get rich fast. You get 30 bars of gold, sell them to the fence and go back and get 30 more. You can do this over and over.

It is still working for me, but I don't use it anymore I have learned after several playthroughs that you don't need that much cash. You can pick up plenty of money doing story missions, side missions, and treasure hunts.

The ingot at ridgewood farm is easier for me to get by standing over it on the table and shooting arrows at it til it goes out far enough then i pick my arrows up too.. BUT its better coming in and out from the opposite side of where you came in. On the right side of the spot is better. You entered and left from the left. Enter and exit from the right and run on the path to the second big rock you see on the right of the path then go back. Get the ingot the best way for you. Wash, rinse, repeat.
That’s not the easiest way. I got the satchel that lets you hold like 99 bars and then kept stuffing bars into it. It was pretty crazy at the burn down sheriffs office. Then I donated to the gang and did it again. I had way more money I could ever need. I didn’t know you didn’t to have so much money. Dutch kept complaining about being broke all the time and I’m like ninja! We have like 2 million dollar between the two of us, how much more do we need to go to Tahiti? 😂 It’s too bad there wasn’t really a use for all that money.
My ways for easy money and fast is steal kauffman farm wagon, and sell it to emerald ranch. Its located near mattock pond. Their wagon always respawn there. You can make $100 for each night ($25/wagon). For fast delivery to emerald ranch, just follow the train rail near that farm. Yes its repetitive, but why not ? Easy money, not too far, no risk at all, just take small honor. And its feel more right when make arthur did a real job for making money😂.
Is it more than going in the hills to the shack with the gold nugget ? You can only go there 5 times, go sell it and go 5 more times. Rinse, lather, repeat !
If you bought every single item in the game it costs like 45K-50K max. Adjusting for honor levels and all that. So it would take you a lifetime to spend a million Lars in story mode lol. All that’s left after buying everything is buying ammo and food and tonics. Which are a couple bucks at the high end. So spending 950,000$ on that shit would take forever.
I have 3000 now and I don't know what to spend it on. I just gamble a lot, spend it on barhs and clothes. I have all my weapons upgraded to max. I eat what I hunt, craft my ammo and tame my horses. Feed your horse, it's stressing me out.
Fun fact; after you bust Micah out of jail and go meet him outside strawberry to rob the stagecoach, you can sneak up on him from above and hrow Dynamite at him! You can't kill him, but you can watch him run like a chickenshit!
I know I finished main story as Arthur and had $16,886. Had all the guns there was to buy and modified too. Just about all the outfits you could buy. Shame you can't give money away.

FASTEST way to get $1million is the Angelo Bronte glitch, then before the last mission you go to Aberdeen pig farm and leave the money for John. I always leave John $10 million+ (that's as high as it goes) so John has enough money to be evil and pay any bounty. Don't get me wrong, it's tedious... takes about 40 minutes, depending on how fast you push the button for the $500 cheat. You can buy everything in the game and still leave $10million+ for John. Easiest way to collect all the cigarette cards, too... just keep buying premium cigarettes until you have them all.

The elephant in the room - none of these are the fastest way. The boxes respawn their contents if you close them and check every time you pass buy. No need to reload, no need to spend hours grinding. If you are going to grind though, the box in the burnt out town can get you 99 gold bars to your heart’s desire, but you don’t need it to buy everything in the game. These are way slower than just closing every box and rechecking them as you play. Almost all boxes respawn contents, even weapons cases allowing you to be well armed for the epilogue before getting Arthur’s weapons… This guy must be new to RDR2 because every video I have seen from him has a better solution or been known for years…

Using a glitch like this is stupid. Just install the RDR2 trainer, hit F5, and add gold to the player. Saves you the time of running back and forth trying to reset the content of the box.

The Moonstone Pond jewelry bag is another one that respawns after you ride away a little way.
This is the best one because there's a fence nearby...

As youre facing the chest, if u go to the left, just passed the bridge and back. The money bag Will respawn . It’s shorter to go this way.

You only have to ride away as far as the road sign at the 3 way crossing. Then go back to the gold bar.
Since the premium cigarettes also respawns, if the cards are random, it's also a good way to complete the sets.
