When I first heard this song/rap in the 70s the politics of Watergate was unprecedented. The end where Gil Scott says "what goes around...comes around" has had no truer meaning than the days since 9/11. The revolution will not be televised - it's live!

It amazes me how subjects like this one can bring people together to argue, but seldom to agree. There are several certainties that could be the basis for a collective move forward if we were to recognize them. 1. There is something definitely wrong. 2. None of us has THE solution. 3. As long as we let insignificant ideological, religious, or philosophical nuances grow into insurmountable obstacles to our collective work, then we will always be stuck. Look for agreements not arguments...

Remember, please, to avaoid judging and labeling, My Irish orphaned grandfather who lived at the YMCA in Brockton, Massachusetts, and learned to box there, became a champion featherweight boxer, ate oatmeal for breakfast everyday. Nothing tepid or indecisive about James Boomer Donahue, who went on to work for the telephone company, and bring my father, Paul Foley, into that profession. Dad was born in 1929, youngest of eight children, in the first year of the depression. ioreodream Nixon was committed a crime he never went to court or nor was he arrested. The question is how did the president become involved as Ford was president at the time. You have to go through due process before the president can even intervene in the process. But this never happened.
