You are the best at explaining the physical sensation of correct singing. High notes: lean back and up. Vowel sounds/mouth shapes. All of it! Your explanations are wonderful and actually make sense, whereas other videos/channels are like "raise the soft palette over the larynx into upper middle chest register to push your breath through your diaphragm and inhale through your eyes."
hahah😂 yes, always remember to inhale through your eyes, very important 😌😆 thank you so much for your kind words!! I'm so glad the videos are helpful! 🥰
This is one of the best videos for this particular topic which I‘ve seen in a long time here on TH-cam. Thank you very much for the clear explanation. I‘ll use your your tips to fix my technique. You‘ve done an amazing job with your video. Thank you very much for sharing your tips with us. Greetings from Austria 🙂
This was extremely helpful and you’re such a great teacher! It’s so rare to find someone who has the ability to explain and demonstrate in an intelligible way concepts that are often so abstract and hard to grasp ! Thank you so much for this video. Are you planning on doing a 1 H course for placement and breathing as well ?
thanks so much! I’m so glad it was helpful! ☺️ I am planning on making one for placement and breathing as well! However I still have to make a few new placement videos first to make a truly comprehensive course for placement haha, but it’ll definitely happen! 😄
I’m so glad it was helpful! ☺️ Singing into the “mask” is just another way of saying to sing in chest voice placement, which is a forward placement where the voice resonates close to the front teeth/front of the face. Here’s a video of my 2 favorite exercises to get my voice in that placement! th-cam.com/video/eNhCeboMvwU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=lWAezA9vwyK8yI8D
This is so kind and sweet, ty🧡 However I'm still struggeling with the technical part of singing and I stil dont know what that is. Its really bugging me. Is it possible to have one private session online?
Of course! I’d love to work with you! ☺️ here’s the link to my lesson information: www.katecosettevocals.com/schedule-a-lesson If you have any questions at all let me know! ☺️
