The same company (CHARTERED) also operates similar Volvo bus services in Madhya Pradesh and connects to various destinations in the state like Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain and lots more. Their services are extremely punctual and ticket booking facilities, whether from counter or online, simply great. I have travelled a lot from Bhopal to Indore and back and never found any reason to fault their service. Their services start early in the morning and continues till almost midnight. Plus, the fares are very reasonable.

Most of the hotels/dhabas (99%) in Assam where buses halt are of the worst quality be it taste or hygiene. You can't expect good food.

Bus driver should drive slow at Kaziranga National Park. Recently I visited Kaziranga and it is so beautiful. You must go to Kaziranga orchid park 😊

Good to see you trying out the Chartered Dibrugarh to Guwahati route. Should have tried the Silchar route as it goes through Meghalaya and the journey would have been more beautiful. Nevertheless, enjoy North East n

Kindly do journey between Guwahati ISBT to Ziro (Arunachal Pradesh) by APST bus. Guwahati departure time approx 4pm everyday. Ziro reaching time next day between 4am to 8am depending on road condition after Potin (Arunachal Pradesh)

At the beginning you said much more about Volvo bus. Similarly you could give information about important cities or towns you have crossed during the journey as well as crossings you met. It will be more interesting if you expressed about Kaziranga national park and other national parks situated in Assam. One can see rhinos, deer and wild buffalo from buses or cars while travelling through Kaziranga. Probably you have missed.

I travelled by ASTC AC Bus service From Guwahati to Shillong. The service was not very average.I would like to rate 6 out of 10.The bus had given a break for 20 minutes. The AC Was also working.But the bus was old and so the cleanliness. As I remember, the bus was made Garrison or Ashok Leyland
If you are in assam try inter district Tata Ultra buses !! You will get the taste of your lifetime 😜

Even in this video, you can make out the bad road conditions throughout Assam. This is a National Highway that is also serving as an ASEAN Highway and the conditions are so bad. Not worthy of that title. Potholes everywhere. It's the same right now as well.

What is Difference Between ASTC CHATERED VOLVO AND ASTC RAYAN VOLVO?

Well if you're travelling by day, Chartered Volvo runs B8R and Rayan Volvo runs B11R 13.8 m buses, while at night Chartered Volvo runs B11R 14.5 m and Rayan at present doesn't run Volvo at night, but, you'll get their services of other sleeper cum seater buses or Bharat Benz seater buses on the Guwahati-Dibugarh route. (If that's what you wanted to know about the buses)
