- In today's video, I'm upcycling 7 Thrift Store Finds using the NEW IOD's Fairy Merry Christmas Transfer. I love how this sweet transfer coordinates so well with the Holly Glen Transfer and both can be used for the holidays or any season due to their versatility!

These fairies are GORGEOUS! As for the cards, take a makeup brush and antiquing wax/dust and dirty up those edges! Could even use instant coffee in a spray bottle and spritz them to gemive the cards that old worn look!!!! Regardless, I love that you thought out of the box and used those wonderful flash cards for a project! They bring back memories ❤

ABSOLUTELY LOOOVE YOUR "FLASH CARDS"!!! Ihvnt seen THOSE since i was a little girl, and the fairies are soooo stinkin cute!!!!
I love the cards. Idea - I would back the card with a thin piece of wood, cut the top corners like a tag. Drill a hole in the top and put twine in the hole.

I think the flash cards would make cute ornaments! You could add ribbon and some
rusty bells!

I think the Fairy Dust would be cute in sparkle embossing powder. Loved the tin containers and the tall hat box. So very cute. You’ve inspired me, I have a number of older Christmas Boxes to make over. The Fairies are really so cute. I don’t think the multiplication cards really work for me, it’s confusing to see a fairy with a math query.
Love the tin pales with the green ribbon added... The Black Books turned out Awesome. Great Video.
Great projects. I think if you punched a 1/2 circle in the top of the multiplication cards, you could add a combination of frayed ribbon, lace and fabric and that would look nice!
More lovely flips, Sonnet. For the number cards, may I suggest perhaps punching a hole in the top and adding a ribbon. Making them look like book marks. They could be used as such or simply added to a vignette.

The flash cards don’t meet my style. I would cut the numbers off, and use just the Fairy transfer w ribbon or twine for a tag. But I love all the rest of your projects. That little fairy in the wreath is adorable!
I LOVE these fairies! I've used so many and I am going to get another one soon!!
I love the flash card idea. Maybe making them into tags by adding a hole at the top and rounding the corners. Also maybe flags strung together with string.
With the cards, maybe punch a hole in the top. Use the green ribbon or small twine, to hang as Christmas Ornaments

Great flips! You’ve inspired me to use my Merry Fairy transfer on so many projects! The gypsy green is a perfect match. Other than in a homeschooling room, I don’t see people displaying flash cards but we had those growing up and they brought back sweet memories!
I’m not feeling good about the flash cards. I would use the black parts, but cut off or cover up the numerals with something else creative…

Ooooh, those fairy tins are pretty much the first craft items using the fairy transfer that makes me wish I had some. I love the way they turned out, and that hat box...be still my heart! Wish I'd seen the pot a long time ago...I had the perfect one to use a transfer on but not as cute as that fairy! I guess it would've been easier to say.....I AM SMITTEN WITH ALL THE FAIRY PROJECTS!!

On the flash card that you did were really really cute if you wanted you could tear around the edges of the cards and antique around the torn edges or use light weight sand paper or block and rough up the edges a little and stain them just a thought

Oh I was just watching your video on the picnic baskets. And I think you should trim it in the black for it was your first go to color. And if you go with the green it will look to Christmas basket. And If you go with black it will be a winter basket also. Just my thought.😉😉😉😉😊

How about more music paper or old book pages decoupage on the flash cards and making them hang tags with a lace and velvet ribbon in a hole punch at the top like a mixed media?

I have a question, please. I like how you used the antique wax on the board, but can I use it along the edges of the transfer so I wouldn't have such a straight line (blending)? Please advise and thank you for sharing so many wonderful ideas and your explanations for creating! Thanks, Lisa
